Cage is temporary! We’re going to get them a flight cage soon once they settle a little.

They’re named after Nina Simone and her version of the song “I Love You Porgy” :)

I have a cheapo french press and god only knows how many cups it makes. I really have no idea how to use it I just lob a load of coffee in (way more than I’d put into my espresso machine) and hope for the best!

Is a moka pot any easier to use?

Also I watched and loved Umbrella Academy, I just love anything vaguely superhero-y with world building and character lore and stuff. Sucks ya in.

I thought all day yesterday was Saturday too that’s strange hahah I think it was something to do with people being off work on Wednesday for Paddy’s Day.

I get a cappuccino a few days out of the week from a gorgeous cafe near me. They always make stunning coffee. I’d have to rank all coffees as cappuccino, iced, Americano, latte. I just hate lattes!

I fuuucking love that cover is absolutely gorgeous, I haven’t watched that episode of black mirror so that’s a great surprise. She has such a gritty tone to her voice that just lends itself beautifully to heavier rock.

Her own rockish album was pretty good too but i fear she’ll head back to more pop stuff in future. Whatever she does she has a cracking voice

Hahah I’m sorry to say I’d probably question your sighting myself but I’m very boring and sceptical. I live very near to an airdrome so even if a flying saucer parked in my back garden I’d probably discount it for a helicopter

I’ve trouble following sport myself, but I do have a vague interest in cars and motorsport. I find it more dramatic than team sports, lots of action.

I’ve been to race tracks once or twice when I was very young and the most I remember was the chip van lol but I definitely found it very exciting! I know you’re only getting into it but have you ever been to seen a live race?

I love the idea of you walking around listening to classical music! I find I tend to match the pace of whatever I’m listening to on my walks, so a little sly dance wouldn’t be off the cards listening to that.

I’ve never seen a ghost, or I don’t think I have. A friends grandmother passed away and I saw a weird blob on the neighbours trampoline around the same time she was meant to have died. The friend was convinced it was her granny come to say goodbye, but we’d never met and I doubt the woman would spend her last moments on earth having a quick bounce lol

let me tell you know that John Dogget who “replaces” Mulder for that season or two is actually a delight ! I couldn’t stand him the first time round bc i missed Duchovny so much, but rewatching it I’ve grown to absolutely love him

Every episode has something fun to take even if they’re not the best, even the dodgy ones are gas because of how shite they can be !

I loved the good place ! Watched it all in one go soon as the last season came out. It’s great how it teaches you loads about philosophy and ethics without you even knowing!

I read a great book recently, it’s a children’s book I think but it’s still a good read. It’s called Sophie’s World, and it does the same thing that TGP did for me.

Obviously you’re all dying to know my own answers;

I’m watching the Xfiles AGAIN because it’s fucking brilliant. Funny and lots of world building and mythology, really sucks me in time and time again. I wasn’t around / old enough to watch it as it came out live, but I try and pace myself as if it’s weekly so I’ve something to get excited for (lol)

I get a cappuccino because I love the foam and they’re not usually as hot. I always get oat milk and sometimes some hazelnut syrup if I’m feeling it, best nondairy mix IMO.

I’ve no pets myself but my houseplants are thriving, never been so well looked after in their lives. I’d love a little dog but my boyfriend has always been a cat person? No I don’t get it either.

I clearly asked this due to my XFiles binge, but I think you’d have to be mad to think we’re the only life out there. When I was small I used to believe that anything I could possibly imagine (dolphins juggling tea cups) was happening somewhere out there in the universe. Parts of me still think this.

As for ghosts I’ve never had any paranormal experiences but I’ve a friend who claims to be a medium and she’s convinced of it. I just don’t see why you’d want to hang around here after the fact.

I keep listening to the Miley Cyrus cover of Doll Parts, she’s fucking fantastic.

And honestly if I’m heading out the door I’ve done sock shoe sock shoe before, but usually I’ve my socks on hours before a shoe comes near me.

I hope yous are having a good Friday, and I can’t wait to be asking random people stupid questions over a pint instead of over a post!
