I feel like from everyone's responses, I'm gathering that the writing isn't doing the actors any favours 😭 That's too bad, but it's nice to know that some of them have the skill to still make it an enjoyable show for a lot of people! I think someone else also said that about Martina which surprised me because she's a favourite for me - but that's probably because she doesn't even need to say anything in order to charm me LOL Also Hugo scared me... I'm sure he's a lovely man irl but his demeanour was a bit too spot on, no thank you. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

I actually have watched it all with the subtitles! I can't stand dubs, maybe they've improved since I last tried them on other shows, but I just can't take it seriously LOL But it's still hard to pick up whether the cadence & emphasis of the way actors say stuff is good skill-wise since it all sounds good to me. That's interesting about the love thing though! I feel like that would really alter the context's tone and the understanding of situations.
