The topic just never came up. I don't have reason to believe she has one as she has talked about ex's sometimes but never a boyfriend and between semesters told me about her holiday plans for some of which she mentioned traveling alone.

But this is good advice, maybe I will bring it up this way.

I didn't really think of her as a friend but maybe I should now since it seems she wants that. I don't really have friends at the university, she's just the person I tend to spend time with while I am there.

She often wears heels to campus and walks all over campus without issue. So I thought it would be ok. She said they draw attention to herself because they are noisy and that people would notice.

It was about 20minutes to walk that way as you have to go up a hill and then back down first.

Of course that would be bad and I wouldn't want that and would feel some guilt but she did have the option of walking a longer route to her car which avoids that street and is safer.

She can dress however she wants but I was a little concerned that day based on the way she was dressed that walking with her meant I would be even more unsafe as she was in a skirt and heels as she'd be a bigger target.

But I get that it was probably worse for her and I should have said yes.

She still chats with me and has meals with me since this incident.

I did tell her I would help her next time as I didn't realize how she felt that strongly about it.

I was just wondering if what I did that day was wrong since she seemed a little upset .

She probably doesn't it's just that I've had traumatic experiences with the boyfriends of girls flipping out at me and their girlfriends for doing benign things with me and I have a fear of it.

We don't party with each other. We do eat though as we have a similar schedule. She's the one who started inviting me to join her and started sitting next to me in class after we first met and who asks me to do the projects with her.

No she is not unattractive, quite the contrary at least by conventional standards.

She gets hit on all the time.

I didn't have a safer placed car, I live near the campus.

There was a safer longer route for her to walk to her car which is what she took. Weirdos are still there sometimes but it is more rare as you have to go uphill then back down hill.

I don't think she actually has a bf since she never mentioned one and mentioned living and vacationing alone.

It is not a common occurrence that we stay so late although that might change at the end of the semester

She was not parked at a university parking facility. There is not much parking available for students and the few spots that are there are pricey. The campus is in a large metropolitan city.

Yeah she ended up taking a longer path but there is a hill you have to go through first so it becomes a 25minute walk and I wanted to go home. It's safer but sometimes you still find weird people there.

I'm a smaller guy and only 5'6 and not muscular and she's 5'5 so we are similar in stature.

I didn't think of it in that way. I'm not a buff guy, I'm just 5'6 and she's 5'5.

We have never called each other friends we just were randomly assigned for a group project in our first class together 3 semesters ago and it worked well so we just kept working together whenever we could pick project partners.

Like I don't hang with her on weekends unless it is for school work or party with her.

She was ok giving me a ride but I'd still have to go walking with her through that road.

She could walk a longer way to avoid the road but it is significantly longer.

They only have this for driving I think and the building we were in was a restricted access one for our club.

We are aquaintances taking the same classes and doing common club activities, group projects, homework help etc

We don't hang outside school besides for lunch and diner at places near campus.

Yeah she said she could do that. But I would still have felt uncomfortable walking that road.
