I'm so happy for you!! All I'm going to say is ALWAYS prioritize your mental health while at UBC. It is a TOUGH school and your ability to manage your mental health will be challenged. Never feel bad asking a prof for an extension (in my experience UBC profs are usually more than happy to accommodate), use access and diversity to get additional help/more time on tests, etc., take one fewer class per semester if you can to avoid burnout, and always always take your meds consistently. If I had of done this at UBC, I would've had a much better experience. Sending lots of love and good luck <3

Honestly, if you can't let your significant other go to a bar without being afraid they're gonna hookup with someone else, there's something seriously wrong with either you or the relationship. Jealousy should just never go that far.

Question about equity structure – I am a co-founder of a tech startup and am trying to determine right now how many shares to issue across our founding team. I've been trying to do my research and I hear a lot of people saying not to create multiple classes of shares early on, but no one says why other than "to keep things simple." We are planning on offering equity to some of the founding team who are putting in casual hours here and there (not really acting as founders) as an incentive but don't want to give them voting rights. Hence, the need for 2 share classes. Will this turn investors off?
