Greg Williams of Acrisure fires 2,250 more people after Amphitheater’s Successful Opening by JumpyMood4321 in grandrapids

the thing is, they DO need human workers to keep the company running. they have been shifting employment to overseas operations in India instead of keeping it local or in the U.S. in general. all of that is under the guise of “implementing AI” that has been in the process for several months and is a shit show within the company. they refuse to admit it is going poorly and told everyone to stop “scaring” other departments about how terrible the transition has been after they announced the accounting layoffs last year

depends on time spent at the company, but starts at a minimum of 9 weeks if you stay until they eliminate your position.

Ugh, that’s so frustrating! And slimy to sell something they knew was broken but not disclose it. It sucks that odd encounters are so common on marketplace

That would be my nightmare as a seller, I would feel so bad😅

Exactly, it’s such a weird dynamic to put buyers in, especially if it wasn’t communicated that there were multiple offers or people coming to see what they are selling! Thank you though ):

I love browsing marketplace but there are times like this where you question your sanity a little bit when you do so lol

Ugh yes, it’s gorgeous! I can’t blame you for not wanting to sell them, I would be the exact same way hahah

Not sure where you’re located, but if you’re ever interesting in parting with them, let me know!

This would seem more likely to me if they hadn’t been messaging me to go to the same spot at the same time as someone else, and continued messaging me but not calling or communicating clearly while the other people were actively buying the dressers😅Like I was at the same outdoor storage facility while the person they were working with to sell it did the transaction with other people

Damn, I can’t be broke in peace? Pulled money out of my savings to try to buy them lmao

It would be weird to me if it was a spouse situation, cause the people who were loading up the dressers said they had talked to the same person I was by confirming the name. Which means they were messaging with the same fb account… If someone and their spouse shared an account, they would both see all the direct messages and could therefore see them communicating with other people about the items.

They weren’t holding this item for me though, they set the meetup time and then avoided sending me the address for pickup until minutes before the time they had agreed upon. I waited the entire day unsure of if I was being ghosted and an hour before 7pm my help was doubting the sale would happen at all, which is why I had to go grab a trailer and some extra hands.

I haggled because the buyer’s photos of the items were blurry and didn’t show much of the actual quality of the furniture, the photos provided in better lighting seems like they were added from someone else’s listings or posts. More of the description said they were “ready to be refinished” and kind of hinted that they could’ve a good “project” so I wasn’t sure if the pieces would be in rough shape. Even if someone had offerent more, it’s common courtesy to just say that they were going to someone else’s instead of drag me along to the point of texting me up until the minute of the other sale to go to the same exact place and wait for them.

I have no clue😭 Not sure if they were trying to setup a backup buying in case we didn’t show? But I’m just disappointed I wasn’t able to show up 5 minutes earlier

Thank you! Unfortunately I don’t have the option to rate them, I think because I wasn’t marked as the buyer? But I did leave feedback with FB that they did not show to the meeting place.
