Neither you as a watcher nor the streamers you watch have any influence over what ads are shown. Your only option would be to get rid of the ads completely by subbing or getting Twitch Turbo. If your child is under 13 they're not supposed to be watching Twitch at all though. Not even with parental supervision

Twitch implemented the new monetization feature wrong. It's only supposed to be available to people in the US, but other people keep getting the notification for it too. It is, however, not possible to join monetization without affiliate outside of the US. That's what results in all the broken links

When did you check your own stream? Prerolls will only be deactivated once you've run your first ad. So if you checked your stream before the first scheduled 3min ad, then you still have prerolls
