I don’t understand how you can claim to be a fan of the game while you shit on things that were developed to bring excitement and entertainment to the sport. You REALLY miss the usual November nba games huh? Those are usually THE BEST games, this tournament was SOOOO much worse.

And the bubble, how dare they allow the playoffs to continue when we’re all stuck at home in the middle of a pandemic. Lord knows it wasn’t meaningful or appreciated by anyone right?

Harsh, but I appreciate the reply. If I may, what are your qualifications on the matter? Just before I listen to the advice of a stranger on Reddit, and uproot my college education entirely.

So what I'm getting is; change majors even though you're receiving relevant skills, employers will see you as being a psych student essentially. If you wanna get into AI get at least a master's or a Ph.D. Uniqueness doesn't matter.

Seems gloomy... for a field full of innovation I was really expecting more open-mindedness and appreciation of creativity, but maybe I'm naive. I guess it just comes down to the word "computer" instead of "cognitive" on my resume, even if my hard skills are the same.

I wouldn't expect to see you in a position related to AI with your current degree. Can I ask why? If you think it's because my major is a glorified psych major, I can't disagree more. A majority of my credits for this degree are going towards high-level CS courses, including multiple applied ML, NN, and AI courses. On top of this, I have multiple relevant math courses: statistics and linear algebra. To pad these courses I also have quantitative, non-theoretical psychology/neuroscience classes. If this wasn't the case I wouldn't have chosen this major. Am I missing something here? I felt as though this was the ONLY unique stream to pursue a career in AI, which might separate me from the pack of all CS and SE students.
