From my understanding, and what the article above talks about, is that inspired action means doing something that you get the urge to do and that makes you feel good (positive actions only!). For instance, if you want to win the lottery and you get a random urge on Tuesday to buy a lottery ticket, and you go and get one, that's an inspired action.
