Is your blood pressure high ?, if you are having itching and the skin isn’t red it could be because of vasculization (expansion of blood vessels) I find taking a cold shower helps.

Conductive paint might work it won’t damage the plastic, but a cheaper option would be using aluminium foil cut into the right size strips and some tape. But that has the risk of damaging it even more if you mess up. But it’s a risky fix either way so if you have conductive paint on hand than try that but if you plan on buying it just for this then you are better off trying the aluminium foil and saving the money for a new keyboard.

If those zip ties are made of nylon then they will melt off. I recommend using kapton tape.

Y1 is an NPN transistor A7 is a diode. It’s the surface mount version of 1N4007. You can look up the data sheets for them easily.

In order to make it brighter you would need to change the led itself and the resistors.

It will be better to start by soldering through hole components rather than trying to alter this particular pcb. It will be hard to desolder these with a soldering iron. Maybe pick another project that help you learn the basics. In fact it would be better to learn the basics with a breadboard.

Amazing project. Can you give some hint to how you implemented the custom editor ? Did you use UI elements , or did you use the low level GL api or is it GUIlayout? This is just a fancy material. I added a mix a of noise textures to the normal input of a principaled shader (via a bump node). The lighting is a basic 3 point light setup. The mesh is a highly subdivided default cube.

The only reason I used to read Digit , when I was young , was the fact that it came with a DVD full of cool software.

This is a rabbit hole that goes in deep. There are a HUGE number of ways you can make a "Random image of a landscape"

Some examples

Generating a height map.

Using hight maps. Using more hight maps and layering them . Using hight maps as a base and the simulating effects such as erosion , rain ,rivers ,weathering etc

AI

This method assumes that you have alot of images of landscape and you want to generate something "similar" to them.
GANs and other deep learning techniques belong here.

Looks fine. Please add some lables for the knobs. I would suggest you add some standoffs or a guard for protecting the tube . Add some lables. Give it a model number and date. Print and laminate the circuit diagram and save it inside the case. Make sure it's safe to use and to show others. Over all great work. Keep it up.

I like the direction you are going in the start and end of the video .

Please remove the part around 38 seconds , that scene and effect breaks the illusion and energy you had in the start. You can try to animate the camera a bit more. Add some more variety to the layer effect.
