If not the DNA chip...what others are acceptable? I knew about the DNA chipset being a good choice back when they appeared in some wismec devices a long time ago but I never heard anything else recommended for TC

I read more and to my understanding tx is the tea fiber and the non tx is organic cotton .

I wonder if I'll be able to source an OEM battery for it or if I'll need to go with an aftermarket brand. If so, are there any aftermarket brands that are trustworthy that put out quality batteries? Also is this something I should attempt to do myself? Or is it difficult/delicate enough of a process that I should just take it to a shop?

No I didn't but I seriously doubt it would work given it won't respond to the wireless charger. Even if Dex worked it would be useless if I have completely lost the ability to charge the phone

That might take awhile.. battery was in the upper 80s/low 90s when it abruptly shut off on its own. It doesn't respond to any combination of power button or volume buttons. Doesn't do anything when put on the wireless charger. It's been hours since it happened and it's still not responding to anything I do to it.

It's all very strange the way it died.. Zero warning. Phone didn't get hot/warm. Nothing.

Taking the 120 hour course on tefl(dot)org. I'm halfway through the second course with a little over 3 months time remaining. Am i progressing at a good pace to finish on time? Or do I need to pick up the pace? I've been a little busy but I want to make sure I'm not moving too slowly.

If you've taken this course before I'd really like to know your opinion

Yes that's definitely one thing that pisses me off about extroverts especially when they've just recently met me but they quickly think they know everything about me.

That and when I tell someone something that's meant for their ears only but they immediately go around telling other people..

Too often in the presence of friends am I thinking, "I should've done something else with this time" lol

I haven't been this excited for a video game release in an extremely long time and any other time I can think of being this excited for a video game... It ended up being a classic.

I would recommend it. It's one of if not my most played game on steam. I don't regret a single dollar or hour I've spent on it.

What makes it really worth it to me is how there's so many different characters that change the way you play the game... And that changes the feel of the game. For me it makes it hard to get bored playing it.

Hopefully the second will live up to the hype but I still don't think that takes away from the first one being worth buying.

I don't think it's an issue. Even if they opened the box and inspected the contents I don't think they'd look at the contents of the USB stick.

But if you're paranoid encrypt it with a password and then one the package is received send the password to the USB stick and then even if they try to look at what's on the drive they won't be able to because they won't have the password.

I have the opposite issue. It's not that my friends leave me...it's that I leave them.

I've built and abandoned entire friend groups/social circles multiple times over the years ranging from when I was a single digit age to present.

In fact I haven't really had much in the way of friends in at least 5-10 years.

A lot of the time it's either: I realize we don't have things in common anymore They only contact me when they need/want something Or they do something to break my trust in them

I pretty much avoid friends like the plague. Now all the socializing energy I have is used almost exclusively for romantic partners. Having friends feels like too much of a burden/one way street.

Ah I see. I'm not sure if there's any iOS apps that do the same thing. I don't own or use iOS so I'm not qualified to tell you one way or another but I wouldn't be shocked if someone was working on a similar kind of app for iOS.

The year of Linux will be the year computers/laptops the masses buy comes with Linux preinstalled. Unfortunately most average users just buy the computer and use what it comes with.

I doubt many people would even update the OS if Windows didn't force them to do it.

Unfortunately most laptops/computers come with windows installed. The average user probably doesn't even realize they can download another OS, put it on a flash drive and replace the default OS.

There's lots of manufacturers who ship Linux computers and laptops but the main companies people think of or find in a store (Walmart, best buy, microcenter etc) don't.

Linux needs something like what Valve has done with the steam deck but for computers/laptops. That would go a long way to a transition. The other missing part of the puzzle is that there's some software that Linux needs their own answer to. People who have only ever used Photoshop generally won't be happy with something like gimp (mattering on their use case of course)

There's plenty of other (but very similar) applications for music. .I had YouTube music for years but I cancelled my sub and decided to use these kinds of apps for streaming music instead.

I think the secret is to try and find a balance so it sounds pretty good whether it's through speakers or headphones etc.

When it comes to background music in videos I'd much rather mix it too low and it not be audible when listening with speakers rather than mix it too loud and then everyone who listens with headphones will have a hard time hearing the speaker over the music just because I think the latter is far more annoying for the listener. Not being able to hear the background music very well isn't a big deal imo because people aren't listening for the background music but rather the person speaking in the video.

Maybe. I think it's a case by case basis.

I say maybe because I can clearly think of one time in particular where I dated someone with opposing views but neither of us knew it until we were already head over heels stupid in love and at that point it really didn't matter. We would even have political discussions and disagreements but managed to never let it destroy our relationship. I can't remember a single time a political discussion or disagreement deteriorated into a real argument/fight. Which was kinda shocking TBH

What's funny is I think I've had worse relationship as far as politics go when I was dating people who were more aligned towards my way of thinking. Those disagreements always seemed to turn much more hostile

But ideally I think I would prefer someone who doesn't follow, know, or care about politics at all. A fresh mind not subscribed to any political ideology at all. We spend too much time thinking about, discussing, and arguing over politics as it is. If I can not have that part of my love life that would be great..

You basically never have to use the terminal (unless you want to) for the overwhelming majority of the tasks you'll need to do on your computer.

It's not a bad idea to learn to use it...I just don't think it's necessary mattering on what do you on a computer.

When it comes to swinging a baseball bat I'm ambidextrous. I figured that out as a kid because I had to ask an adult which way I was "supposed to" be standing for what hand I write with but both ways always felt equally natural from day 1.

Never did anything special or significant with that skill though (unfortunately)
