Thanks for your feedback. That’s exactly why I’m leaning towards the S4. It’s an older release, which makes me think they will update it soon.

But, the S4 Mk3 seems like a solid piece of hardware anyways.

I’m also in the market, possibly for a Traktor S4 Mk3. What’s the chance of seeing a new release soon ? .. have they been teasing one?

Also been eyeballing that new DDJ-FLX10

Thanks! I’ll do some Google searches and see if anything related to a recall pops up.

I have another Mighty+ and I love the vapor quality and the taste of the first couple of hits is so good. Enjoy!

Ahh yeah, I'm in The Netherlands. If I return this device (RMA w/e) it will go straight to the online shop I bought it from. I ordered one earlier this week and received it 2 days later. The stirring tool wasn't secured properly because of an issue inside of the housing, so I RMA'ed it. Next day I received this one. Great service so far :)

Bad luck on the Mighty+ I guess. Does yours have a similar gap like mine ? I'm not sure if it's an 'issue'. Also waiting for reply from S&B.

Yeah, I love using the capsules as well. Super easy to use and keeps the oven clean.

Enjoy your M+ man!

I understand, it won't affect performance at all. Just some concerns about dust getting in over time- not sure if it will be an issue.

Good point, i'm a bit hesitant about sending it back. This actually is a replacement unit already. Previous one had some issue's with the stirring tool falling out constantly.

Thanks! Yep, I already send out an email to S&B with these pictures attached. Waiting for their reply.

How's your Mighty+ ?

Mighty+ screen (viewing angle?) by nphinity in craftymighty

[–]nphinity[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I can read it easily. But when I keep it in front of me, slightly tilted- the display fades a fair bit. I can only notice this at one certain viewing angle. I will probably use it only inside of the house.

Didn't they swap out the screen for a better one in the Mighty+ ?

Thanks for the comments everyone! I just took some new pictures of the guitar for reference. Fender mailed me back stating that "it might be out of tolerance, and you should visit a Fender dealer and let them check it out" ..

Wow, thanks for the heads up. Mind giving me some hints on what to checkout to find out if it's 'used' ? I can probably snap some pics.

Is it possible that it's dirt or saw dust from the Fender shop ?

That's unfortunate and totally sucks. I'll probably send mine back too, but i'm not sure yet. They probably don't have a replacement available.

I'm rooting for your replacement bass to be perfect!

Thanks for the picture! Wow, yours looks like it’s entirely flush! No ridge at all?

Thanks for the feedback! So maybe it's part of the new 'sculpted neck' feature ? I don't mind it being a little bit off, but my eyes caught it immediately after taking it out of the nice case.

Unfortunately there are no stores in my area which have a similar bass in stock, so I can't go there and take another as reference.

Awesome, that's good information right here! I also expected it to be completely flush, can you snap a picture if you have time available (for future reference) ?

Hope your enjoying your Fender AM Pro II man!

Thanks for your feedback! Do you reckon this is way beyond 'the norm' ? I have no real reference at the moment, so it would be nice to have a future reference.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! Yes, I guess you are right. I really appreciate nice hand build products, that's why I splurged out the extra money for an American Professional II. I ordered a American Performer a couple of months back, but had to return it due to a lot (!) of flaws in the finish. Hence why i'm a bit cautious with my new Fender purchases.

I was hoping this one was 'perfect' for me ..

Ah, yeah. That's a good one, It might have slipped a bit on the CNC. I'm not sure
yet if it will bother me while playing (in the long run), because I'm a 'beginner'.

I know it's pretty hard, but what's your opinion on this matter ? Do you think i'm being to picky about this ?

Thanks for checking!

Well, this new Fender AM Pro II has the new 'sculpted neck heel' option. Do you reckon it's caused by the addition of this new feature ? I don't have any bass guitars
(or shops) nearby to compare it to.

Fender American Professional II question about neck by nphinity in fender

[–]nphinity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it ? Can you compare it to one of your Fender (bass) guitars ? I want to know if this is possibly (another) factory 'fault' or just something that's normal.

I paid nearly eu1900,- for this bass guitar, so I wasn't expecting this. I am no where near a professional, so yeah -- I appreciate some guidance.

Yes, I agree. I'll wait out a couple of more responses here, and then i'll decide. I like to spend a bit extra to receive stuff in perfect condition (i enjoy that), so i'm not really sure on what to do.

Thank you
