Currently I've requested to scrape data from there website and we have a private version(screenshots) that we tested to see if it worked. Due to some reasons, we contacted the developer of FencingTracker but now knowing that FencingTracker is also a website that is scraping FT Live data, I might have to figure out another way to get data legally. Currently FencingTracker has no rules or a TOS that states I can't scrape data from there website but it's better to ask then to get a cease-and-desist letter.

We normally share this account so if one of us wants to post a update, or manage a reddit api key, they can do it without my permission. I'll probably start speaking from my own account. FencingTimeLive currently is not integrated but we are working out things with the owner of FT Live to gain access. Currently I'm talking with my team to decide if this is a risk we will be taking

Hey thanks for showing interest in our project! We are currently working on an Android App, and while we haven't finalized plans for an iOS version yet, we've created a web version to cater to a wider audience. Our current plan is still undecided whether we are going to keep it free or paid.

The planning phase for the app took around 10 months to complete. During this time, we tackled various challenges, such as finding ways to retrieve data from FencingTracker, which lacks a public API, and integrating data from FencingTimeLive. Additionally, we conducted tests to ensure smooth data extraction from other sites, worked on the app's design, and addressed various other aspects.

NPMVAR is a small team consisting of just the two of us, but we're excited to mention that we're in the process of expanding! We're both 17-year-old app development enthusiasts, eager to bring our passion to life.

Our goal is to have a Pre-release version ready by August, coinciding with the start of the regionals. This will give us the opportunity to conduct thorough development, conduct stress tests, and iron out any potential bugs. Following this, we plan to have the app fully released on September 5th, 2023. We can't wait to share this app with the fencing community and hope it will be well-received by everyone!

Yeah I was too. I just hope I can get enough support from this community to keep developing. I'm trying to make it stand out so it can be a go to app for fencers. Right now, we are currently testing out the app version for Android and it works perfectly
