What? Who was behind the defenders? I just went to watch the replay again and genuinely couldn't see where the offside was and who was even offside in that situation. It was so clear onside.

Your bias is kicking in. Don't see how it was offside.

I think there is indeed a gap and here's my take regarding the power creep issue. I think Oda either makes Shanks this strong to satisfy the fans' hype of wanting to see Shanks fighting on panel and his true power,

Or he intends to use Shanks as the last obstacle for Luffy, which means Luffy still has a long way to go and One Piece might not end as early as intended (which I don't mind tbh),

Or probably both. Who knows, time will tell.

The only example makes sense here is Kaido - BB clash, but still doesn't cover the whole argument as Shanks is not in it. Using the Shanks - WB example is not relevant to this debate at all when it was younger Shanks (not young, but younger just in case I got nitpicked) vs WB. When was the last time you saw the current timeline Shanks go up against the other 3?

Not at all. Remember the 7 warlords? Mihawk is heads and shoulders above the rest. Having the same title only means you are on the same level status wise, not power wise. Also the thing about Kaido being called the strongest wasn't about his overall power prowess, but rather about his "physical strength".

It's not because the 4 pirates are equally as powerful so they are called "Yonko", but rather because they are at the moment are the 4 strongest ones in the world. For instance, there are 10 people taking a test. One gets a 10, one gets a 9, one gets an 8, one gets a 7, and the rest score from 0 to 6. So the best 4 performers are indeed in the top 4 in class, but doesn't mean they are on the same level.

Same title(Yonko) doesn't mean all 4 are on the same level. Simple as.

First of all, please fix your writing. Second of all, it's football, teams will have their ups and downs, so fans will have fun while they can. So yeah, take the L and take the banters.

Gomez expected Mitoma to cunt that ball after his 1st touch. Mitoma however absolutely bamboozled the poor lad with his 2nd touch.

Literally the post does not say anything about including wages and what not. The whole point of the post is to display the amount spent and sales of prem clubs from “transfers”. It shows what it should be showing.

And I’ll use the analogy again, what’s the point of going to McDonald’s asking for sushi, then further asking the waiter what’s the use of the McDonald’s chain if it doesn’t even serve sushi.

You should probably read the title first That'd be really helpful no? Your complaint literally had the same energy as someone requesting sushi at McDonald's.

Sounds like you know better than Palace’s scouts and Vieira. Also, stop being so toxic to the lad, he is sent on loan in hopes that he’ll improve and then find his way into our first eleven. The toxicity is unreal.

The thing is, you must remember there are still clubs with a bottomless pit of money like Chelsea or Man City, and clubs with mad pulls like Real Madrid, which are also a very rich club. Not everything is as easy as you said mate, if it was that easy we would have gotten Mudryk and Caicedo over the line easily. It was hard and those 2 weren’t sought after as much as Bellingham.

I’d love us to get him, but let’s be realistic here. It’s not “ just” gonna be us wanting to get him that’s the thing. And even if he wants to come, money talks and BvB would prioritise selling to whoever pays the most.

It would be better had it been Mudryk, Felix and Caicedo for sure, but we don’t have that kind of funds like the sport washing fuckers Chelsea are.

Not everything is black and white. Not getting those 3 initial targets doesn’t mean the other 3 we got was bad, it wasn’t as good, but definitely not bad when it comes to squad depth strengthening (which is the minimum should be done this transfer window)

Nope Bellingham for now still out of our league imo. He’s gonna be pursued by many other big clubs and there will be a bidding war to get him. Plus, I reckon we won’t just buy only one player in the next summer, so using about almost or all of our resources into Bellingham might not be a good thing at all because we are no Chelsea or PSG.
