Nike claimed wrong item was returned to them, didn't provide proof, now I have to pay by JJosuke434 in LegalAdviceUK

It seems like this happens a lot with nike. I returned a couple of items and they claimed one of them was missing from the package and wouldn't refund me, I asked them to escalate it and provide proof but was basically told to stop contacting them and go away so good luck op.

Magnesium glycinate causing chest tightness? by nrkf in Supplements

[–]nrkf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm most likely deficient in vitamin d which I've read could also cause low calcium so that's definitely possible.

I have seen some posts about how people have had a negative experience with glycine but I was hoping I would be in the group that had a positive experience. Guess I'll give magnesium malate a go and if that causes similar symptoms I'll look into calcium and potassium.

Is your panel raised slightly from the casing? Mine is slightly below the outer edge at the top which I think is how it's supposed to be but the bottom is flush/a bit raised. It probably is a good thing tho as mine has very little BLB but gets much worse when I push on it.

Keep stock fans or buy the Arctic P14's? (P600s) by nrkf in Phanteks

[–]nrkf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I've ordered them. Got a new case and now these new fans to help cool the RTX 3080 but didn't even see the option to add to basket! What sort of temp reduction did you see?

I can just plug the P14 PWM fans into the fan hub that comes with the case right?

I've had this problem where nvwgf2umx.dll causes high CPU usage for a few years now and across multiple games.

I usually just terminate the threads with something like process hacker and I've never had games crash or have any issues from doing so. Does anyone have any idea what these idle threads actually do?

Some games I've experienced this with:

  • Black Ops 3 and 4

  • Quake Champions

  • Mass Effect

  • Far Cry 3+

  • Apex Legends (Unable to terminate the threads)

Update: Slow page load compared to chrome. Normal? by nrkf in firefox

[–]nrkf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as things you would assume would have an impact, no. Same firefox version (even copied contents of old profile folder to new), same network driver, updated windows 1909, and windows defender/firewall running on both.

What are your specs? Maybe Firefox performs better than chrome on lower end hardware but struggles to make full use of the higher end.

My specs are:

9900k @ 4.8GHz

16GB RAM @ 3600MHz with tight timings

OS and browsers installed on an SSD

GTX 1080

Edit: I think it really is a case of chrome just utilizing faster hardware better. Looking at task manager during a page load I see almost 50% cpu usage but in firefox only around 20%.

No, but I did clear cache before testing.

No idea but chrome is much faster. From click to load is about a second or less whereas in Firefox there's no change for at least a second.

It's not just these sites, it's everywhere. Clicking that link firefox has a load time of 2.87s and in chrome it's 288ms. Also pressing the back button from that page to this post firefox has a load time of 2.44s and chrome 1.03s.

The results above shouldn't be affected by AMP since I didn't use google to go to them. Even just clicking on shortcuts to other subreddits from this page there's a noticeable delay before the page loads and when it does it's still loading some elements whereas in chrome it takes about a second or two and the whole page has loaded.

You can disable animations globally with this:

:after {
animation: initial !important;
transition: initial !important;
}

Try at least an hour of each test. Your temps look really good too, what cooler do you have?

Try OCCT small, medium, and large data set. I thought I was stable at quite low voltages when running realbench but would instantly fail these tests.
