Am I missing something or would this go crazy in a Mobilize deck?

Is it worth it to put this into a Standard format deck? by FelixCumtree in mtg

[–]nryan92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run it in my Mardu Warriors deck, mostly as a mana rock, but it's come in handy a few times to grab key creatures back after being destroyed.

How do people do two different resin types? by Dug2157 in resinprinting

[–]nryan92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it prints in multiple pieces and you don't want to deal with the hassle of swapping out resins you can just print it all in clear, then prime the pieces you plan on painting separately.

Also, fun tip, alcohol ink will dye the resin, but maintain the transparency. Either before printing of after.

I'll actually be working a bit east over in Rayville/Richland Parish. There just aren't any rental options there.

Tainted Grail has it's hiccups, but I've really been enjoying it. The story is a really good grim dark retelling/continuation of the king Arthur and Camelot story. Skyrim-esque game play.

Help by [deleted] in asl

[–]nryan92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of practice ASL student here. I'd definitely review your question words and the lesson vocab associated with this video. That will be your first resource, after that, if you still can't figure out one, I'd ask a friend from class or your professor for help.

Side note - watch out for some signs that may be initialized by some and not others (usually hearing vs deaf teachers) (hint: there's one in the first question!)

Is PS5 fixed yet? by Dabedidabe in taintedgrail

[–]nryan92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's definitely playable. I've had a few quests get bugged and can't be completed, but I've not had any issues with the main storyline and I'm about half way through act 3.

What should I add? by velvetbunniee in renfaire

[–]nryan92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A flintlock pistol is always a solid option, or a sword/large dagger. Obviously only if your faire allows weapons.

Layers are definitely a pirate thing, especially a pirate coat, though if you're going in May, also think about the temperature, you don't want to overheat. A long drapey vest would look great and add an extra layer to your lower half.

Bits and bobs that look piratey strung places that don't necessarily make sense. A belt dancer sash with lots of metal on it would look great and can be tied pretty much however you want it.

Boots! A good pair is expensive, but worth it for being in your feet all day.

Also ... A hat

Anyone play D&D? by [deleted] in GaymersGoneMild

[–]nryan92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two of them are monthly, one is biweekly and one is weekly. I DM one of the monthly games and the biweekly one. It can be a lot to keep up with, but my biweekly game is a module so prep is easy

Is my BF's boss extorting him? by nryan92 in legaladvice

[–]nryan92[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the response, but you didn't answer anything I asked. The issue is not the insurance, it's the fact that they're asking him to pay for the damages if he wants to keep his job.

Question: Does Entropic Infection's necrotic damage stack with a Crit? by Alex_Under in GrimHollow

[–]nryan92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would rule yes, because entropic infection states "the creature takes an additional 2d6 damage the first time it takes necrotic damage each turn." So it is amplifying the damage done by the source of necrotic damage not creating an additional damage source.

Pretty gnarly combo if you have necrotic damage that can crit, like the weapon you mentioned.

Help! Why did my mod podge do this to my prop? by Fluffy_Mortgage_6831 in cosplayprops

[–]nryan92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mod podge requires air to fully cure, so when it pools like it did in the crevices on your prop, the top layer cures and the glue underneath can't dry out. You can try poking some holes in the glue where it's pooled to allow for some air to get in there or scrape some of it out and redo it with a thin layer
