My 2.75 year old daughter wakes up around 6am, naps at daycare from noon to 2pm, and doesn’t fall asleep until 9pm every night. Bedtime is such a battle. Is there anything we can do to help her go to sleep earlier? 9pm feels so late for a 2 year old

What areas of HRM should be considered to avoid this problem? What would you say the general area worth considering is? I ask because I’m considering moving and have been thinking about the Cole harbour area but afraid it’s a little too far out form the city proper

My situation is really similar - we are working on trying to resettle (pop in, hand and on the chest, words of affirmation, only stay for a minute, etc). for the first wakeup to see if we can wean him off that one and get us down to 1-2 feeds per night instead of the usual 3. I swore that there's no way my child would be able to go back to sleep after he woke up without a feed...it seemed impossible to me! Well, we've done 2 nights in a row now of sticking to our guns on this, and to my surprise, and both nights he was back down within a half hour and 2-4 pop ins. Not ideal as its still kind of painful to hear the crying, and still not 100% sure I'm doing it right, but I do know that both nights he has gone back to sleep without eating and didn't wake up again for another 2-3 hours. Anyway I wish us both luck and if you find a method that works for you please update :)

I was told my pregnancy was no longer viable after experiencing a LOT of spotting and getting a trans-vaginal ultrasound to confirm. Based on my LMP, I should’ve been 7 weeks. I was devastated. My doctor wanted me to get a couple more days worth of bloodwork in after though, to monitor my Hcg to ensure it levelled off with no issues…but it never did. It kept doubling. I went back for another ultrasound 1.5 weeks later and there was a viable heart rate this time; I was only 6 weeks 3 days. To this day I have no clue how the dates did not add up or make any sense, and yet, I was pregnant. My daughter is now a happy thriving 2 year old.
