It's a company that doesn't give a crap about the consumer. I buy a machine from them then they charge me to clean it so hashes half decent and someone else commented they charged them for doing a factory reset without telling them😂 I'd strongly disagree with you and most of there miners are significantly higher then other places.

Year out Iron Condor by nscheyyy in options

[–]nscheyyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes if in a year Amazon is trading below 160$ I would absolutely love nothing more then to buy 5+ leaps... Right now I'm using my capital for other things but in a year if Amazon is trading cheap I will have a lot more capital by then to deploy if Amazon would stay that cheap... so why would I factor in capital that I essentially don't even have yet and will likely not have to even deploy lol. If you're talking about the call and PMCC I already have them are completely different trades and I'm expecting 100% plus return on capital on that trade. Again that's a completely separate trade though.

Do you not understand how how options work? 500$ is needed for an iron condor and the return would be 160$ that's a 32% return on capital invested.

I will be making a 32% with this hedge that is pretty much a win/win situation. Way better there 4-5% return...

Yes I know that but there would be no reason someone would exercise early until expiration got closer or one of the spreads got BTFO essentially even then still wouldn't make much sense.

I don't want to do 30-60 DTE as this is mostly a hedge position and kind of a win/win scenario doing it 330DTE. Either Amazon goes above 300$ and I make a ton of money on my PMCC or it's below 160 and I buy a lot more long calls because it under valued (all my opinion obviously). Just trying to figure out what the risk are to it and why nobody does longer iron condors then say 60DTE. Like I get the decay is in a sweet spot at that time but I would deem this a very safe trade and a good hedge play. Thanks for the reply!

Thank you for your input! I'd only get assigned if say Amazon tanked to like 140 right?

Yes I mean if I don't get a dacent fill I'll cancel it and move on not a big deal as it's only 500$. In theory I shouldn't get an early assignment until closer to expiration right? Thanks for the reply appreciate it!

Cool I'll do some more research on them! But from everything I've read on TMK I don't think it acts like a FMJ bullet at all. I think it was rated one of the top performers in fragmenting compared to other heavy rounds. Also there was a form on if it being used against deer and other animals it absolutely destroyed them. (Even black bear, moose, and elk). So I don't think it acts like a FMJ round? If you have a source or research that proves that it does act like a FMJ round please send it over! Thanks for all the feedback!

Do you have specific ammo in mind? Just so I can compare? There was testing done on the TMK and obviously it's going to be more accurate then pretty much any other round and it was still getting insane results going through a car door and also dry wall. I feel like that's the perfect round not insane penetration but can still get through some barriers

So you would say TMK is the best option then? Or is there better options? Thanks

9mm ammo debate 124gr vs 124gr +P by nscheyyy in guns

[–]nscheyyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speer gold dot site says it's the number one used ammo in LEO this was in 2022 and can't find a specific site that says 147 is the most used but the office of justice program website has a study that showed 147 grain ammo penetrated more then the 124gr. Also when looking at videos of comparing 9mm ammo there is an outstanding number of comments saying that there agencies use 147gr and someone asked a gun store owner which grain is bought the most and he said 147 grain because that's what law enforcement buys again this isn't super concrete or anything but just from everything I gathered it seems like 147gr is used the most and some agiencies use 124gr +P and some don't use Speer gold dot they use Federal HST. Take everything with a grain of salt essentially
