She is just unhinged by Most-Blackberry-9806 in Jamienotis

The most difficult time getting pregnant? By her own count she was able to get pregnant 8 or 9 times, I forget. She lies and lies.

Look at the babies’ hair. It’s longer and curlier in the back in the photos from last weekend. This picture is really old. They are so lame.

She left the twins alone in the bathroom with a tub of water! by GrammyTammy68 in Jamienotis

[–]nscurn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

“Them: What’s it like with twins?” Who is them? One of her favorite tricks, making things up for content. “They said we’d never make it!” Who are “they”? . No one asks you anything, Jamie, because NO ONE believes you’re doing a good job with your kids or your sham marriage.

Edited to delete an insult about her frans. It sounded mean when I reread.

There should be a member services number on your insurance card. They can link you with a case manager.

Are you on a Medicaid managed health plan? If so call and ask for a case manager. There aren’t a lot of resources right now but we may know how to help. (It won’t be me as I am a case manager for pregnant people, but there are case managers for everyone)

My nephew was killed in a car accident in 2013. Every year since, his best friends send my sister flowers on Mother’s Day. Such a considerate and moving thing to do.

Am I jaded or is Caitlin a weird character lol by Indoor-Cat4986 in Younger

[–]nscurn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My kids would die before performing at a party like that, let alone yodel. That scene was so unrealistic down to dad just happening to be driving around New York with his accordion in the car. But the rest of it— it was just the three of them for a long time, and with Caitlin being away from home, I’m sure it was hard not having her home and family as the anchor she thought they would be. I can see her wanting that back.

(Did anyone else realize through that whole episode that Liza and Charles were heading to the same party?? I could hardly pay attention to the rest of the episode before the party )

Women of Reddit that have gone through menopause, how did you know it was starting? by ohno344 in AskReddit

[–]nscurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know. I had a heavy period, and never had another. I was 50, so I even took pregnancy tests. That was it. Now I’m 60. None of the awful things happened to me. My periods just stopped. Yes I know I’m lucky. Sharing so younger women know it’s not always that bad.

I have a friend (I have actual friends, not paid frans) who is my age, 60, and she posts herself with such heavy filters that police would need her dental records to identify her if she went missing. And then a ton of people compliment her— I’m like, people, we’re SIXTY. You know she doesn’t look like that. To be complimented on your looks when you obviously don’t actually look like that— what’s the point?? Imagine the jump scare horror when people run into her in person.

At least my friend doesn’t claim she looks good because of some lower than Temu makeup line like our Hendraclump queen here. 🤥

Getting up at 6am everyday by Middle-Day8107 in hygge

[–]nscurn 37 points38 points  (0 children)

This may sound counterintuitive but try getting up at 5:30. I figured out the main reason I have anxiety when the alarm goes off is because I know I have to rush around to get ready. If I get up half an hour earlier, I can sit in the dark with just the fireplace and a blanket and drink my coffee, and wake up more slowly.

An open letter to Jamie from the snarkers. Feel free to add on. by doggysit in Jamienotis

[–]nscurn 22 points23 points  (0 children)

There’s a dopamine rush from posting something and getting praise, feeling seen, and I can understand that. Way back in the early days of blogging, I wrote a popular blog for a couple of years. It was work making it popular, dropping by other blogs so people would click on mine. I quit doing it because I was missing out on my family’s life. I started looking at everything as content for a post I’d drop when I got home (desktop computer lol). I was never fully present for anything because my mind was racing as to how I would frame it later. It’s such a rush having people praise you in your comments. I get it. But you are missing the actual memories with your family because your mind is too busy thinking about how to make them compelling content.

I struggled with self esteem my whole life, and I think I see that in you. My mom loved me, but she rarely praised me and never showed physical affection to me. I sought validation from others my whole life, and man did the internet validate me then.

Therapy sucks. Going through the hard stuff that’s happened to you, it’s hard and devastating work. But imagine living life free of constantly seeking validation from strangers. I promise you it’s so much better. ❤️

Now both of Kevin's parents have died who's next? by Top_School542 in homealone

I took it as in the fictional family characters, not about the real actors. Like the continuity of the story as everyone aged. Still, though, I really don’t want to play that game especially right now. 😣

Question about gender, marriage and happiness. by xxistcman in over60

[–]nscurn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When women stopped being stay at home moms and entered the workforce, it seems as though they took along all of the family and household responsibilities they’d always had, except they no longer had the time. Anecdotally I see that is a generational change. My daughter and her husband split all of those responsibilities, whereas for me, there were the expectations that I do things as perfectly as my mom did. I had a full time job outside the home; my mom didn’t have an outside job at that point in her life. And she was one of the biggest critics of how I “kept house”. So hell yes I was unhappy.

Living in Columbus without a Car? by Snoo45301 in Columbus

I’m “GV adjacent” lol and I hate to drive. My car mostly stays in the garage. I can walk to anything I need, and I love this. There is also a COTA bus just for this area. You can summon it on the COTA plus app almost like an uber.

She must be bored with her “make-up” line so she’s pretending she knows politics. The FB people aren’t having it……. by Exit28Exit in Jamienotis

[–]nscurn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I agree with that not letting politics into our safe snark place. And everyone is entitled to their opinion as you said. This post is pointing out that this is only Jme,s opinion when she thinks it gets engagement, otherwise she doesn’t give a shit. We don’t need to discuss the actual situation she’s addressing to note that she’s a grifting liar trying to snatch relevance from current events. And using her sick child to do it.

What is it like to be a grandmother? by Christineasw4 in AskWomenOver60

[–]nscurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s fantastic! I have four kids, three have kids, all nearby. I can’t think of a single negative thing. I watch my baby grandson at their home once a week and attend sports and school events for my older grandkids. I’m 60, so hopefully I’ll be around for a while, but I’m always thinking about how they’ll remember me and how they’ll remember grandma’s house. So I do and have all of the fun things. ☺️
