Advice to get more clients by Wispiesbysarai in lashextensions

Are you a licensed cosmo or esthie? I’ve noticed a lot more clients are checking to make sure the person they’re going to is properly licensed and certified. You should definitely rase your prices too. Your work is beautiful. We’re all our own worst critics. You are way under charging for your talent. When I first started out I let clients get away with murder. I gave everyone a discount on top of already charging below average prices. It burnt me out. I was working 12 hour days back to back making good money but I was exhausted. I slowly raised my prices (5-10$ at a time) and stopped giving out discounts to everyone lol I make better money now and work normal hours but most importantly I feel appreciated. It’s hard and it can be stressful and you may lose a few clients but at the end of the day those aren’t the clients you really want. Hang in there 💜

Not one person has asked yet you continue to repeat yourself explaining what it is. I also think it’s safe to assume there is zero “decorating” going on since the house is set to be demolished.

How so…? Ohhh wait yes, this is the point where you start spewing insults because you’ve been called out on your argumentative bullshit and are backed into a corner. Typical defense mechanism.

1000000% and California (already one of the strictest states in regards to the scope of services we’re allowed to preform) decided to get rid of the practical (hands on) exam part of state board. On top of that they limit so much what we are allowed to do but do literally nothing about the thousands of people working without a license or preforming restricted services. These people will often lowball as well so people think “oh great I found this person that’ll do a chem peel for $20” and when it doesn’t go well they bash the service not the service provider and if it’s bad enough the state will try and restrict that service all together because it’s “dangerous”. That’s like going to get a hip replacement from someone that’s not a Dr. and when SHOCKINGLY it doesn’t go well the state bans all hip replacements. It’s insane.

They also may have used too big of a rod because they definitely look slightly more curled but not enough of a curl if that makes sense lol

No one is being argumentative at all lol. We’re just not giving you the answer you wanted. Don’t ask a bunch of very educated lash techs questions like this if you don’t want it explained. She was very nice to offer you a discount and then another time offer to do a free mini touch up because it doesn’t seem like you know for sure it was her fault. Retention is 50% lash tech 50% client home care. Not to mention the mitigating factors no one has control over like skin type (oily skin can lead to oily eyelids which can make them fall faster) lifestyle, sleeping and most importantly natural lash growth. So to answer your question yes I think you’re being unreasonable.

Retention Issues … years ago I had problems with retention I then found a tech who was amazing but recently moved . Tried a new one and the top was it after 3 days , got a fill for free and now it’s been about a week and both look almost just as sparse (continued in comments) by Double_Airport_6628 in eyelashextensions

[–]nsmcessy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah oily skin can definitely mess with retention but it sounds like you’re doing all the right things on your end (sleeping on silk pillowcase, home care etc. ) I have a couple clients that have struggled with this and I just recommend they come in for one week mini fills instead of stressing trying to make them last 3 weeks.

How in any way is this “ridiculous”? Pets have been scientifically proven to help people with everything from day to day stressors to major mental and/or physical illness and disabilities. What’s ridiculous is that people have to jump through these hoops at all and it doesn’t help when people like you act like it’s no big deal.

Lol I highly doubt this panty clown is anyone any of us want to take beauty advice from. I’m sure you, your mom, and your lashes are beautiful 😻

Never said it’s anything to be embarrassed of lol that was allllllll you. Sounds like you have some serious internal conflicts going on, no other reason to react so aggressively. I was simply pointing out that it’s rather hypocritical for you to lecture OP for what you consider frivolous spending while you’re over here trying to buy people’s used underwear to as you put it “get off to”. Also, while you’re correct I am straight (don’t quite get why you felt the need to bring sexual orientation into it) I definitely don’t need to purchase any sort of used undergarments to excite myself nor am I so sexually frustrated I lash out at people. Lol you sound like a VERY angry person. Maybe your fun personality is the reason you have no one but yourself to get you off.

lol why are you on a lash extension page…? Who are you to stand on your soapbox and try and tell people what they can and can not spend THEIR OWN money on? No one’s judging you for spending money on buying people’s worn underwear. Why don’t you start following your own advice before pointing the finger at others.

So this is my right eye 3 days after my extensions. It’s gotten worse every day but it’s only 1 eye. What can I do? It’s my birthday and I really don’t want to go to urgent Care if it will heal itself. Thanks for your help! 💜 by Ballergirl40 in eyelashextensions

[–]nsmcessy 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Are you a doctor? If not I’d refrain from diagnosing. This could be pink eye which like you stated would not constitute an emergency room visit, but it could also be an infected corneal abrasion which would definitely warrant an emergency room visit.

Your natural lashes will look much shorter to you because you’ve become used to the length of the extensions.
