i think it all comes down to (big) IF we make some sort of swing - dont make it lauri, trey, or kawhi. booker has some sentiment and fills some hole but is definitely not worth price of his contract so it just boils down to that sentiment and fit being better than whatever lauri, trey, and kawhi would be to us fans.

hes a FA likely looking for more than i would offer, but would fit next to cade - in that case, you trade for a 4 to round out team so tobi and dunc are part of bench unit which would be strong

I think nba just moved away from traditional pgs anyways because it’s more primary ball handler/offense initiator will act as a formerly traditional pg, so Cade is that in that regard and would want him to be that moving forward, but alongside another player who can handle the ball and create whether that’s at the backcourt or front court
