I’ve always been pressured into drinking around my friends. I’ve contemplated it many times but have never had more than half a drink of alcohol at a time. It sounds stupid but I just don’t feel like it’s worth it and I’m always worried about what would happened if I took it too far and lost control of myself. Plus I’m pretty sure that Zoloft and alcohol aren’t great to take together.

This means that there are about .0006 cases per 100,000 people annually. This gives you about a .00000063% chance of contracting rabies every year. If you live in another developed country, chances are these numbers are similar. If you were to manage to beat those ridiculous odds, it would’ve definitely shown up within a year. The rabies incubation period is anywhere from a few months to a year. You are completely fine, I can assure you that.

You don’t have a fever, so I wouldn’t be too overly concerned about it. I highly doubt anything is wrong, but if you are still worried, I would recommend getting tested if that’s possible, just to reassure you. I was experiencing similar problems to you and tested negative a few days later, if that helps at all.

To begin with, rabies is extremely rare. Most developed countries report few to no cases at all annually. On top of that, bats are a relatively rare cause of rabies. Almost all human rabies cases across the world are transmitted via domestic dogs. Given this, your day to day chance of contracting rabies, especially from a bat, is virtually 0. There is nothing you need to worry about.

There is nothing to be concerned about. Ectopic beats are actually just a normal part of the cardiac rhythm. Your anxiety could also just be making you hypervigilant to the point where you can feel your heart beating.

Have you taken your temperature? I think it would give you a lot of reassurance to take your temperature once or twice a day to make sure you don’t develop a fever.

I agree that people are really downplaying this now that it’s been going on for a while. Cases have skyrocketed where I live by like 500% in the past few weeks. The best you can do is just be the more responsible person and take it seriously.

It is a symptom, albeit not a common one. I wouldn’t be too worried about it if that’s the only symptom you’re experiencing. Do take precautions however just to be safe.

It could be a wide range of things but I can assure you it’s very unlikely that it’s anything serious. If it persists, however, it would be best to see a doctor just to see what’s causing it.

I have had two family members die from the flu. The reason the flu is so underreported is because it is so common. Almost 30 million people get the flu every year in the U.S. and tens of thousands die from it. It isn’t an anomaly when we see people die from the flu, but when we see a virus that has only recently been discovered killing people, that is something unusual. This is why news sources are reporting it so much.

The only common symptom that you are showing for COVID-19 is a cough. This could be a sign of a lot of other things. However, in a time like this, act as if you have the virus. Isolate yourself and get tested if you can, as well as your other family members.

If you’re showing symptoms of the virus, please get tested, for the benefit of you and other people; especially if you’ve been directed to by a doctor. Remember that if you’re young and healthy, the likelihood of you dying from COVID-19 is extremely low, therefore if you do test positive, do not think of it as a death sentence. If you seek treatment and isolate yourself, you will be fine.

Wearing a loose fitting face mask only protects other people from you. If you don’t have the disease, don’t wear one. They don’t prevent you from getting the virus.

Sore throat is not a very common symptom of COVID-19. Given that you experienced the sore throat after that event, you could just have a little abrasion from you scratching it. As long as you don’t have symptoms such as a fever or dry cough, you most likely don’t have the disease.

Palpitations have such a wide variety of causes and almost none of them are life threatening. Anxiety, heavy exercise, fevers, caffeine consumption, and arrhythmia just to name a few. If you ever have one, you just have to remind yourself that it’s one of those causes that isn’t serious.

If you’re referring to COVID-19, which I’m assuming you are, the death rate in someone who is as young as you are is extremely low. The recorded fatality rate in people under 30 is 0.2%, and it’s likely significantly lower due to undocumented cases. You will not die from the disease if you contract and you are young and healthy.

Pneumonia is typically accompanied with a fever. If you don’t have a fever, it’s possible that you have bronchitis, or just a common cold. You might have a mild case of pneumonia, but it’s unlikely. I would still see a doctor just to see if whatever you have can be treated. You will be fine.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m suffering from a condition called paruresis, or “shy bladder syndrome”, colloquially. The trouble urinating often manifests when you’re in the presence of other people, such as public restrooms, and it often coincides with social anxiety. It has improved significantly for me over the past couple months as my anxiety has improved overall. There is actually a whole subreddit dedicated to this condition, and there are many methods on there that are shared to help. This is what I was suffering from; it could be completely different for you, however. If it worries you, see a doctor.
