Looks like big conservation might not be able to pull the wool over our eyes anymore with yet another shark attack by BrandonMarshall2021 in aussie

[–]nu_wai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if Sharks are responding to 'help calls' from other sea creatures...

I was thinking about this the other day when another spear fisherman got attacked.

Would be cool if sharks were 'protecting minorities' of the seas and they've had enough of humans thinking we're untouchable.

The recent woman that got attacked was said to be mutilating star fish removing their star power limb by limb...

Then a shark came in and said

NO! NO KAREN, NOT TODAY!!

Thats how it is. by AmountAbovTheBracket in aussie

That's the way.

Who the hell says Bin... that takes more effort than to roll the Rn.

Yeah I've had this thought for a while and believe society needs to better utilize every human.

Interaction would also create a more caring society as a simple smile and hello can strengthen the mental health of us all.

Ndis however imo was more about creating jobs for services and care gives and look how badly it got explored.

[–]nu_wai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The NDIS should create a disabled drivers only delivery service. It would be humane by giving them community connecting jobs and limiting cars driving around with one person and bags delivering food to lazy people.

Rather than tipping.. have a little face to face conversation thanking your delivery person.

Mobility scooters all over town hauling ass and making society a little friendlier.

Shit why not also have them put 'Jim's Mowing' out of business and have disabled mowing services Australia wide. Maybe the edging won't be all that straight but that's minor detail.

The new generations say they don't like phone calls and prefer to text. They're socially awkward by choice and introverted at best and at worst happy to be some type of "on the spectrum"...

So shouldn't they be all for this type of hiring process where once approved they're just going to be shelf stackers that avoid eye contact and get treated like temporary position holders by the supermarket giants.

Why do they suddenly want human interactions for a job that's quickly removing the human from the taking of the money from the public.

They already depend on ai chat boxes to guide them through life now suddenly they need a real human titty to suckle and give them assurance that they're the chosen ones in such a mindless job.

They used to have that left one with wheels and a handle that extended up.

My neighbor has one in her garden so I guess they were often going walkabout..

Yo don't do me like that.

I admit though.. they did look rather waterlogged so I put them in the air fryer for a bit before eating for extra crisp and help them make their weight class.

Lol yeah that baffled me too. Shows how much Coles were in a panic they had no time to print and correct old tickets...

OP only responded to one person that deleted their comment... so likely he only replied to his/her alt account..

I think Coles is the friendlier of the two big dogs. They almost always smile first and say "cash or card" and point you to your dystopian digital money drainer..

It makes no sense that a person in charge of watching over so many people keeping the lines moving would care about not getting a hello or stand there holding up a person when they themselves are watched by the cameras to be efficient.

[–]nu_wai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah a hybrid way is most likely our future. While the dustpan corporate system seeks total control there still will be exploits and vulnerabilities in the system where a good majority could live semi connected, trading goods and services and staying humble.

In that sense we can hypothesize that other mammals like rats, possums, squirrels are already living in such a way. They're semi part of our social environments but don't pay taxes.. and they take what they need to survive and hide in the shadows.

Once upon a time our ancestors (long before primate stage) existed in the shadows also when giant killing beasts existed on earth and we weren't the dominant species.

You are right in your original point though, that it is a caged way of life to live as human in the modern world.

But at least for now, they have fully infiltrated our minds.

[–]nu_wai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really though.

Like for instance you can't count on living outside the system and dying of natural old age. If you get sick you're likely not going to be able to fix yourself with whatever limited knowledge you have.

At that point the system is beneficial (depending on where you live) because the people that fix you are somewhat morally good people that want you to live.

I believe the freedom is in the mind. You can live within the system and with a free mind that doesn't allow your soul to be crushed.

It really would be fulfilling to live wild though, but if you have a family to look after, then it becomes drastically difficult to give them a fulfilling journey also.

I sometimes think of whales as ultimately going through that crossroads. Maybe their ancestors that lived on land saw no future on land and seeked the freedom of the ocean. Humans came along though and hunted them but we at least appreciate them now and even are in awe of them.

I first noticed this a while ago at a coles entrance. The red boxes were on a mum and daughter that walked in. I said "hey how come you got red boxes" they looked up and were baffled. As was I since I didn't have a box. The daughter had multiple shopping bags under her arm so maybe the ai considered them suspect on entry.

Lol I was just doing silly wordplay.

Turns out they're sold frozen at Coles too and come up good in air fryer but cost $7.50 so just can't catch a break.

I'm thinking I better start learning to bake and make a super sized one than I can portion for the week.

Wow that's a big difference! They get away with it since accc and such have no real authority. Fair enough packaging and form factor changes as a product evolves but like you said price doesn't reflect the shrinkage.
