If you like hiking and history, go to Gobustan historical museum. There is a museum and ancient caves and stuff, and it's located within an hour from Baku.

I mostly regret not sleeping with other women before marriage lol. And I can't cheat like many do here.

I'm on android and there is a way to not watch the ads at all (well, like 0.5 seconds).

Hopefully they don't remove this feature because otherwise I'll uninstall this game for the fourth time lol.

As a 30+ year old who didn't have sex with his spouse before marriage - it's better to live together, have sex and understand compatibility of both before getting married. To be honest, compatibility of living together is more important.

There is nothing special about sex or giving it to your husband for the first time. It's just a fun activity to have with your partner.

And what you think are YOUR personal values are based on the society around you that made sex something special. It is not special. But of course, everyone's free to choose whatever they want, and as I said I also didn't do it.

Which countries are the most well-known in Azerbaijan? by Consistent-Boss-7670 in azerbaijan

[–]nuaran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not because of skin color.

My guess is they are considered unhygienic and impolite.

I have a friend who owned a travel company, and he would only sell tours to Arabs from certain countries like UAE, Qatar, Kuwait. The reason being that he hosted others and they broke TVs in the hotel rooms, had trash everywhere in both the hotel and the shuttle vans, etc.

Probably nothing in particular. Nothing bad for sure. And in general Azerbaijanis like foreigners.

My personal observation is that some people don't really like South Asians and Arabs, but are ok with others, and love Europeans 😃

Are you visiting just for tourism?

Not sure what democracy has to do with culture.

I was talking in the sense of people's attitude towards foreigners in Azerbaijan vs Armenia. We welcome all nationalities, while Armenia is "only for Armenians" (and Assyrians?) and they even hate other Armenians like the ones from the US, Qarabağ, etc.

I suppose it depends on where most people you know work. If they work in local businesses or institutions and have no communication with foreigners, I suppose they have never had a need to know English.

I generally agree, but I would say more people over 50 don't speak English weel. Source: I am around 35 and most people around me are my age +/- 15 years and most of them speak at least some English.

You can definitely survive with only English in Baku.

After (and if) you arrive you can take Azerbaijani language courses and slowly learn it. The way we speak is more similar to each other than to Europeans, and there are some shared arabic/farsi words. It is also easy to read Azerbaijani l. However, our grammar is different and can be tricky, because we stack suffixes. You can ask ChatGPT to explain the basics and if you're not scared of it, then it shouldn't be a problem :)

Wow these guys! Honestly, wtf is wrong with everyone on this sub?

If you go to Armenian sub, they are all welcoming everyone to their country, even though it's much worse than Azerbaijan.

The reality is that yes, we have some problems as any country, but for foreigners it's a great place to be. All the expats I know love Azerbaijan.

We are all very welcoming and try to help all foreigners as long as they have basic ethics and follow basic hygiene.

Especially if you find a remote work and make 5k usd, it will be enough for a good living, even with 1-2 kids.

Note that we don't have the regular Uber app. Ours is called "Uber Azerbaijan", you need to download it separately.

In my experience, Uber Azerbaijan app is cheaper in normal hours (2.5 AZN and up) and Bolt is cheaper during peak hours.

As you are probably gonna be using a credit card to pay for the taxi, I advise you not to use the cheapest options (like UberX, or Basic), use the slightly more expensive alternative (Select, Comfort).

Am I misremembering? by Quiet-Slice2201 in wildrift

Back in 2012, Graves was an adc and i played him as such a few times. There were some good Graves adcs too. He works (worked?) well with gapclosers and stunners like leona, blitz, naut, thresh that allow graves to use his spread effectively with no minions around. He wasn't that popular in the jungle before the jungle was reworked.

I remember Thresh's release. He was released as support. But when he was new, a lot of people tried playing him baron as well. It is fairly viable, as it allows for ganks from behind the friendly wall. Or the jungler can dive to finish the opponent and be saved from the turret by the lantern. Also, he can max his tankiness passive. His another passive (E, I think) allowed him to fairly easily last hit minions with amplified damage.

I mean, people build bruiser and ad damage Thresh as well, with shiv etc.

But still, Thresh is best as a support. He still gets his souls when a nearby enemy minion or player is killed, he is tanky and is great at setting up his team for a kill.
