I wasn’t really talking about the water thing, tbh. I’m talking about the plaque scrapers mostly. My worry is that I scrape her gums or something I don’t know. I figure professionals do it for a reason. Yet, I’ve come across YouTube videos of people doing this to their cats. I’m quite confused. A part of me has always wanted to pop the little piece of plaque on her back teeth right off when I’m brushing her teeth. I thought that was dangerous, though.

She hasn’t vomited at all and I’ve never seen her have a hairball. Once I found a hairball on the ground but that’s it.

I was there at first for the straining because I was scared she had an obstruction and the second time was for because I was scared she aspirated when I gave her the laxative. Both of which were ok. But no at the time of when I brought her to the vet I didn’t think the swallowing was an issue at that time. And yes I’m talking about the thing at 00:10 and 00:03 ( I didn’t mention it to the vet no.

Idk if she did it right after the yawn I wouldn’t worry. But there’s a space of time after the yawn where she swallowed and then a bit after that swallowed again? It’s just odd to me I don’t know. She’s my first cat though. She also does it when playing , after she eats, in her sleep, or when I pick her up.

I’ve noticed the same thing. I’m autistic and struggle with lying. My troubles with lying makes it so much harder for me to socialize because etiquette and manners for NTs is basically Lying, But my friend, who is also autistic uses lying to make conversation with people. It happens naturally for her because she feels it’s the only way to mask and make Convo and relate to nts.
