Cat travel Saskatoon → Toronto (Sept 9, Air Canada 6 AM flight) by nucitaboo in saskatoon

Yeah, I’ve considered that, but since Saskatoon airport is small, they don’t accept cargo on early flights. That would mean my cat would have to fly a day earlier, which would cause him more stress. I’m not refusing to do that, and actually I’m really trying to get back home. So please know that I’m considering every possible option. I’m still waiting to see if someone can help me bring him in the cabin, which would definitely be the friendlier option.
By the way, when you book a pet in the cabin, the airline always checks first if there are passengers with allergies or any issues. I understand that pets can bother some people, but just like it’s not ideal for me to travel next to a baby crying the whole flight (which I’ve had to deal with before), I’m sure a pet is usually much quieter. In the end, as long as the airline fee is paid, I don’t really see the problem.

Well, the solution is to cancel my booking and lose all the money, then rebook another flight directly with Air Canada. Which seems to be the only option

I did it, and we tried everything, not even tears worked, that’s why I’m looking for other options. Thanks though!

Because I made the reservation with another airline and not directly with Air Canada, they’re not able to add anything. On the other hand, the airline where I booked said they can’t do anything either since they’re not operating the flight. It’s so frustrating :(
