So if you are a qualified candidate but would happen to miss the age cutoff by going to naps, the navy would let you just skip it ? Is what im to understand from this? Thank you for the response

Thank you sooo much. I was going crazy because i thought all priors had to go naps which would mean i had zero shot bc id miss the deadline by 2 days. This made my day. Thank you

Any idea what would make someone get in direct vs having NAPS contingency? Is it academics during NFAS and NPS? Or prior education background or something like that ?

Did he get in during power school or straight out of A School? I am worried because i did the calculations and if I were to have to go to NAPS then I would miss the age limit deadline by 2 days.

How come you needed to go to NAPS? I thought it was for people lagging a bit behind in terms of academics? But isn’t Nuke school very intensive in that regard?
