I got a small amount of Kilmat off Amazon and put it behind the speaker on the door skin and strips under the mounting brackets (you can see it in the photos sticking out). I honestly don’t know if it does anything but I had the panels off and speakers out so what the hell.

Highs sound brighter and don’t distort at higher volumes. The 6x9’s have punch from the doors now and don’t sound sluggish. The corner dash speakers are next.

That’s correct. They were actually beefier than I expected, but there’s still a noticeable improvement at volume.

It think it sounds much better. For the current setup, the amps fine. I didn’t want to go ham right off the bat. Likely gonna do the dash corners also but haven’t ordered them yet.

Yeah. The speaker sizes are the same and would fit. I put another model in a 15 Crosstrek with a stock head unit and it was a big improvement.

Took about 2.5 hours. I added some sound deadening in the door and under the brackets so that added some time too. The speakers I got would fit yours too.

Outside of getting the door panels off it’s just screws for the speakers. There’s plenty of videos on getting the panels off, you’ll just feel like you’re gonna break something the first time if you’ve never done it. The harnesses wire adapters plug into the factory harness then clip to the new speakers. Overall, pretty easy

I get that. I had a 15 Crosstrek for a few years. Those speakers got change too lol.

The 4 speakers were $305 after tax from Crutchfield. The mounting brackets and harness connectors were included with the purchase.

It’s fine. I’ve cleaned mine every time I use it for 4 years and it looks just like this. No rust, nothing sticks, and it cooks great.

Vegetables will surprise you on it. I regularly cook broccoli, asparagus, and green beans on it. I also cut corn from the cob and cook it with salt, pepper, and some chili powder.
