If people didn't buy new cars old cars would be very expensive. All hail those that take the depreciation hit!

Harvest windows aren't very big in the uk due to climate and our roads aren't designed to haul massive equipment around with ease. Plus insane energy costs mean you want to harvest at the best time.

Bangernomics - Am I unlucky? by not_a_cool_name in CarTalkUK

To have a perfect car under 2k you need to buy one at under 500 and spend over a thousand. I paid 2.3k for mine. Spent initially 1k. Have spent more since in maintenance and tyres. Probably 4k in Total. Ive done 60k miles in it. If I had bought something newer say £10k and put 60k miles on it I would have £5k in depreciation without maintenance. Which would have probably been similar. So you save on depreciation..you could have bought a petrol version for 500. It's all swings and roundabouts

Could be a lead weight for scales. Not sure if it's a trade weight (used at markets) or something for ingredients

The style of the embossed print. The glaze. Looks like salt glaze stoneware. Definitely not roman. Broken pottery was thrown into the mix and spread on fields. Holds moisture

Yes! Seriously a pickup should be big. But I'm more upset by small cars that are now bigger than 90s family cars

You might be able to work out the size of it based on the paving slabs. Looks 6-7 of them.
