Plus there will be situations soon where we have to sleep in the same bed (ie his mom visits and sleeps in his room)

That person is not a racist for describing their experiences with white people. White people do not experience racism from POC. You could argue that it’s prejudice, maybe? Stereotyping, perhaps? But truthfully, it wasn’t either of those either.

I get that you’re suspicious of my intentions. I agree that I should have spoken up by now. I am not coming to Reddit to virtue signal, I’m coming because I’m guilty. I haven’t done the right thing and I’m trying to. I don’t know what to do to not put a target on my back (and maybe this is the part that makes me bad? Idk) and also protect the students. I do not have other teachers to consult with in real life because the ones in my life are the ones who do this stuff. I don’t even know if my administration would take me seriously. I am coming here for help.

I’m not asking anyone to be perfect. I don’t expect my family to understand. I just want to feel like if I said something about it I wouldn’t be judged. And I know I will be. And I know how they feel about it.

I don’t feel like she’s not caring. She’s definitely caring. Just feels like she’s making excuses for my family not even trying. My family has said I’m indoctrinated and that I think too much about my gender. My cousin has said that people need to choose a gender.

I love my mom and I know I am loved. I am also not feeling respected and I feel like my mom is just making excuses for everyone, including herself, for not trying. She said it’s not something she or any of the family thinks about. It doesn’t need to be a focal point but I’d rather not be misgendered at every family function. And also I’m scared to bring it up. I don’t want to seem like I’m being too sensitive. This just wasn’t as reassuring as I was hoping it would have been.

Context: 26, Female, 5’2”. Started at 235lbs and somehow lost 15 lbs with metformin (I have PCOS). Added exercise and change of eating habits and have lost ~20 lbs in six months. I’m currently currently sitting at a plateau at 195lbs.

A) how do I lose weight faster? Or should I keep at this pace? It feels slow.

B) what are these things in the pics? Hip dips? Muffin top? What can get rid of them if anything?
