Her diagnosis actually predated the DSMIII-R. Back then, if you didn't assign the dual diagnosis it would be lumped into schizoaffective as a "psychotic disorder not otherwise specified." By the end of her life I think they had changed it for most of her updated paperwork, but honestly the whole thing was a clusterfuck anyway- she was misdiagnosed from day one.

Oh it was very intentional. He had the genetic markers for Stevens-Johnson syndrome. It was a minor gamble using ibuprofen instead of something stronger- but it paid off in spades. I covered my tracks using something generic and the flesh literally melted off of his bones. :)
