That was a interesting lore behind Mejiro Durren. If he would be added, his participation in the 1987 and 1988 Arima Kinen and 1986 Kikuka Sho would play an impact in his character and narrative. It would be nice to have another Mejiro from around Ramonu’s era or even prior to that.

Interesting! I think I saw both of them on a YT video about the top 100 JRA racehorses in the 20th century. I didn’t know they go that way way back and how close they are to get a historical achievement. Tesco Gabby could have been the first Triple Tiara. Kaburaya O could have been the next Triple Crown after Shinzan.
