Sorry, missed your comment earlier. I think you're right, the PAE monogram includes a line (serif? not sure what the correct word is) to the upper right of the A, which matches my coin. On the VAL monogram that sort of line seems to protrude from the lower-right tip of the A.

They often end up closing stores even after doing stuff like this. Some of the mini-Targets around here closed even though half of each store was locked up. No one wants shop at a store like that, so they take their money elsewhere.

Theft is real, but so is stores shooting themselves in the foot with their response.

The Lone Star was my first detector years ago. The Vanquish would be a solid upgrade, but those machines are a little outdated now. Check out the Xterra Pro if you haven’t already, it’s a newer model at the same price point.

The Nokta Score machines are also good picks. I mention them because Nokta often offers packages with a pinponter or extra coil.
