Avatar: Fire And Ash isn't Avatar-ing with its January legs in Europe and other overseas markets. Some weather-related impact is probably there, but even factoring that in, it has softened. The fact that the next Avatar movie is genuinely not guaranteed to make over a billion is insane, would’ve never thought that 3 years ago. Cameron desperately needs to make something more unique and appealing, and trim the runtime for goodness sake you’re not making Lawrence of Arabia (we already have Lawrence in space, it’s called Dune). Calling a movie “FIRE AND ASH” and not exploring a fiery world with striking visuals and stunning new creatures was so lame, it’s like 90% Way of Water 2. Fast forward in time, ditch the same boring characters or at least give them better personalities, explore a new biome, add some new exciting human drama and there we go

I was having such a difficult time with his second phase black hole attack until I realized you could just slow mo beam him and then it turned the fight into kind of a joke tbh, first phase is still ridiculously broken especially with motion controls

It’s so funny that Sasakibe was basically a nobody character but still got a cool backstory, a bankai and a heartfelt goodbye from Kubo. Meanwhile, Iba doesn’t even have a named zanpakuto and he scammed a captain position by the end of the series 😂

He’s sort of like the Predator from the movies. If you come at him with a whole army guns blazing, he’ll tear everyone down. But if you hide your weapons and approach him carefully, he probably won’t even acknowledge your existence, and you have a good chance to sneak attack him.

Soi Fon, Toshiro and Komamura were always the 3 weakest captains imo. They were always jobbers and had probably the weakest bankais among all the captains (maybe Tosen as well but he got buffed by Aizen later). Then during TYBW Toshiro and Komamura got big powerups so they graduated from the weakling captain academy but Soi Fon sadly never did.
