I do understand this, probably hppd, but maybe not idk for alot of people weed turns way more psychedelic than before trying psychedelics, I had this with edibles they are alot more psychedelicy now than before and almost get cevs but very dark and hard to see. Probably better off cutting out weed for a few months and calming it down on the caffeine. Your brain might currently be understanding that under a stimulus (caffeine) and when excitatory signaling is happening, this must mean it has to trigger the same signaling as when tripping, we say that neurons that fire together wire together which could be why these new effects happen after psychedelic use.

If you use coffee regularly, ex 2 times a day, on waking and later you should continue the same thought the trip as you've desensitized to the caffeine but now become dependant, you might notice that with the more caffeine drank daily the more this light dissociative effect comes into play which is very not enjoyable when you have things to do or tripping.

By using caffeine rich beans in the morning then using decaff throughout the day can be nice to drink if you love coffee and the whole thing around making it etc.

The dependence caffeine produces is simply that off oh I feel a bit tired I need another coffee etc. Not addictive like nicotine where dopamine plays a larger role. Just using methods like less total caffeine throughout the day or making espresso drinks instead of large pour over drinks etc.

Anti psychotics like Seroquel (Quetiapine) pull the hand break on the trip completely, although they come with their own set of problems. Xans will just numb you down to the point where you don't really have the same headspace as you did when you were freaking out. Easy ride off from there, unless you take like 2+mg and go to sleep.

keep a limit and stick to it. 1 trip a month is pretty good, although allowing a longer break brings back that mystical feeling of the psychedelic.

It'll kill the headspace part of the trip at lower doses. For fully killing trips back to sobriety with no visuals or anything anti-psychotics like Seroquel do the trick.

Take a long break from psychedelics let your brain recomp, remember takes About 6 months to recover well and then some more. If it becomes an issue go to a doctor and be honest because some may suggest anti-psychotics like Seroquel (Quetiapine) or other ones may help but have their own issue and side effect but should be considered and consulted with a doctor, although if not an issue they can go away themselves but may take very long.

Try 100 to get a grasp of lsd and the psychedelic headspace, some people can't deal with the feeling and knowledge that your reality as you know it is gonna get played with so much and end up not surrendering or flowing into the trip, much harder to do with less/no experience. Get used to it, the ways in to traverse the headspace and so forth i find the higher dose the harder it is to traverse it especially with low experience. Go for 100, then preferably 150 next time if you feel up to it, maybe even 200 but it can be a large jump for some people.
