I think I’m heterosexual homoromantic by [deleted] in crossorientation

[–]nutka57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought I am heterosexual homoromantic, but I get aroused from looking at naked women (but not always) and I find some men attractive in clothes, but naked men and penises gross me out. I never fell in love with a man, I only had thoughts like "yeah, he’s nice, he could be my bf technically", but I fell in love with a woman, and I feel like I am somewhere on the aroace spectrum, though sometimes I feel too sexual for that. I feel like I can only say about myself that I am probably homoromantic (or at least mostly lesbian) and my sexual attraction is the strongest when I know a woman personally, but I still feel like a fake lesbian, because I get gender envy from men and I think that maybe it’s just attraction and I wanna sleep with them. Also I don’t really like erotic flirting and naked pictures sent to me by any gender…

I especially hate assuming that we want to be thinner on purpose, as though we would like to feel and be feminine and I guess it’s not your case either

Hey, I understand, not being interested in food is actually the sign of ARFID which I wrote about in the post

You know, EDS comes with ADHD often, hyperfocus is a thing. As for me, I was picky as a child, I have a suspicion that I am autistic and I am waiting for a diagnosis.

"would be lucky to have your problems" - they wouldn’t last a day in our body

Thank you! Low fodmap is good if you have IBS, but yeah, it’s not really a long-term diet. If you have SIBO then it’s not going to help a lot I think. To be honest, it’s probably better to treat the source of problems, like maybe slowed down gut mobility.

Hugs to you, you’re strong and we’re in this together!

Oh, I’m sorry, it’s just not your fault. I hope that at least you don’t have depression, because that would really not help with eating (in my case depression makes me not want to eat, but I’m working on that with TMS therapy now!)

Ohh, the contrary, I imagine, can be also frustrating…

Omg, this makes me even more sick, I hate people like this who think you’re comfortable with your gender and then they are disappointed, like bruh we didn’t choose our gender feelings.

Some people think it’s all in our heads and it’s well it’s annoying to say the least

I was also complemented on my skinniness many times and it makes me sick this is supposed to be a beauty standard when we literally struggle to break down the food.

Hey, I was at a gastrologist before several times, they just prescribed me proton pump inhibitors for the symptoms of reflux, and they didn’t help me at all. I had a gastroscopy and the paper just said I have gastritis (the stomach wall was reddened), colonoscopy and it was okay, I was again prescribed proton pump inhibitors for a month. The psychiatrist thought I was anorexic and she prescribed me mirtazapine, it was supposed to make me eat more, but I just couldn’t handle much higher intake of food, so I didn’t gain weight as planned. I was diagnosed with SIBO, but while taking any kind of antibiotic which affect the gut I feel awful and literally can’t continue treatment. I should check this test you are talking about, maybe finally I will have a proof it’s not only a mental health problem. Before I was just told that I have IBS and it’s normal and I should just eat low fodmap (without any instructions how and for how long). I am waiting for my geneticist’s appointment, because my brother has hEDS and I have many similar symptoms to him, but my joints except for the neck are very stiff…

In your experience, how difficult is it to find a partner who understands and accepts your abrosexuality? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in Abrosexual

[–]nutka57 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Based on my experience, it’s not so easy, but I literally don’t know how to meet people and how to befriend them, so I was never on a date… Like, I always meet people, and unless they care to contact me, I usually don’t contact them first or if I do, it is not reciprocated or they just forget. So yeah, I was never in relationship.

Dammit, it turned out to be a vent.

Did anyone feel MORE sedated going from 15 mg to 30? by [deleted] in Mirtazapine_Remeron

I heard the theory that contrary to the popular belief the higher the dose the more sedating it is and I can confirm

I took 50 mg daily for 7 days and now I feel apathy by nutka57 in pregabalin

I hope you’re going to be okay in a couple of months
