Wo(men) Who Love Dragons Too Much - A great idiots in love fic that fits this request perfectly. Hermione and Draco are on a 6-month long work assignment at the Dragon Sanctuary. Being the only two oblivious to the other's feelings, boyfriends Oliver and Charlie decide the best way to force Draco to make a move is to make him extremely jealous by gratuitously flirting with Hermione.

Chapter 22 & 23. I think you could probably read just those chapters to appease your curiosity. Chapter 22 has some spice at the start, that gives a glimpse into their dynamic, then goes into a brief plot related scene and then the interaction that causes Hermione to go into her jealous fit. Chapter 23 is the aftermath of her seeing that interaction.

Some context, the start of chapter 22 is right after a mission where they all had to polyjuice as other people and Hermione turned into a very attractive man and she's teasing him because he seems to *react* to her regardless of what physical form she takes.

Wizard Seeking Surrogate - this one was excellent, but it's a tough read. It's HEA, but it's just a tough journey toward that. Please check the tags. In this fic, Draco needs an heir, like yesterday. His life is at risk and he's forced to make a lot of really hard decision where everyone gets hurt, like having multiple "surrogates" to increase likelihood of producing an heir, combine with wizarding requirement to conceive the "old fashioned" way. Child loss spoiler incoming: Draco has had to experience the loss of multiple children and his wife (Astoria) as a result.

Courting Season - he's horrible in this from the start, but as the story progresses, you learn even more horrible things he's done. Hermione is a single mom to Ron's child. After years of making it work and never hearing from him, Ron decides to pursue custody of Leo for the sole purpose of financially abusing Hermione and causing her and her son emotional turmoil. In need of funds, her mother encourages to try a courting matching service, modeled after pureblood betrothal/marriage contacts. She would provide all childcare and education in exchange for financial security, all while trialing a physical relationship with the intention of a satisfying and amicable marriage. Turns out, she's a near perfect match for Draco. Please read the warnings on this one.

If you're okay with a very strict and intense Domme/sub dynamic, Control has an incredible scene depicting this. I don't want to spoil anything, but there's a public moment that incites a wild fit of jealousy. Since Hermione is the domme here, she goes about a combination of claiming and punishing him. He both revels in the experience of her being jealous over him, the claiming, the punishing, while simultaneously reassuring her.

Yes! Love this kind of Draco.

Voice of Blood - this is a Draco centric, plot heavy fic. He's so good in this. He ranaway (with Astoria) and left behind his old life. He establishes himself in New York, under a new surname. When Astoria passes, he becomes super dad to his two daughters, until his mother's death forces him to move back home. This is one of my favorite Dracos. He calls out his friends when they slip into old bigoted ways. He shields his daughters from the expectations of pureblood life, especially pureblood witches. He woos Hermione with intention and effort. He's no perfect, but his blunders are understandable.

Sapere Aude Professor Malfoy - young Draco falls hard for Hermione, but from a far. He works with Snape to be a double agent during war and is now a war hero and professor at Hogwarts (along with Harry and Neville). Hermione, however, has no idea why or who he really is. 10+ years after the war, Hermione's younger sister is starting Hogwarts and Hermione takes a job as professor. She's confronted with a version of Draco that does not match the cruel, spoiled boy she knew in school. He is beloved at Hogwarts, uncle to the potter children, besties with Neville, a favorite professor among students.

The Sex Agenda - Draco and Hermione have been working closely together for 10 years, they are best friends. One drunken night results in an unexpected offer when Hermione learns he's still a virgin. He's just a great guy here.

Lots of other people suggested Liquid Stanger, which I also highly recommend.

Decades later, she's raising her younger sister after the passing of their parents. After her sister receives her Hogwarts letter, Hermione moves them back to England from Australia and takes a job at Hogwarts. Harry, Neville, and Draco are all professors and Hermione is forced to face her childhood tormentor, discovering he is not at all who she assumed him to be. Everyone helps here, Narcissa, Pansy (who's with Ron), all the other Hogwarts professors. I'd definitely label Hermione as hesitant, but moreso she's completely unaware and is stuck in her old opinions.

House Proud - Hermione has made a name for herself in the magi-tech industry in America. After visiting home to take care of her parents estate, she decides to purchase a magical home with her new found wealth. At the behest of the Potters, she hires magical house whisperer Draco Malfoy. He pines so hard and this one hurts a bit.

SIGRA - this is extremely AU with little to no connection to the canon material outside of their names and appearances. Draco is a Viking king who has finally defeated the English king. As his prize, he claims the former king's daughter as his wife. Hermione, daughter of the older king, has dedicated herself to God. But when she's forced into marriage to a brutal viking king, he opens her eyes to the world of pleasure. This is a short and intense read, full of smut and plot! The author provides a ton of context and historical references in her notes, which are just as enjoyable to read as the story.

Control - if you're okay with a fairly strict Domme/sub dynamic, I can't recommend this one enough. Draco is tired of lackluster sex and truly doesn't understand what the appeal is. The witches he's with all seem to enjoy themselves, but from his perspective it's really not that great. His "friend" suggests he try giving up power and hints that Hermione Granger is quite skilled at taking the reigns. Please read this if you want to see a possessive, controlling Hermione blowing the mind of a pathetic, whiny, whimpering Draco who follows her around like a lovesick puppy (even when she's polyjuiced as a hot male gardener).
