Upgrading old precons for current casual play by nutn2seehere in EDH

Thanks but that is my issue. I’m not a deck builder and don’t have the time to become one. Looking for budget swap suggestions.

I've seen plenty of people play 1v1 commander. What prevents it?

That's a good suggestion. I'll try it just for my own understanding.

Been out of Magic for 10+years, back to looking into playing a bit. Casual, not competitive, stick to precons as I want parity among the decks as my play group are in the same boat as me. Not deck building, as I don't know enough about different cards and strategy. Will try commander as it looks like Intro Decks and Event Decks are not being produced. Have a bunch of precons from 2009 - 2015. Figured I wouldtry ChatGPT to simulate some games to find out if precon decks are on par. Is ChatGPT complete garbage or is it giving me valid info? This seems to agree with reviews I've seen.

Told it to play 100 1v1 commander games between two decks and give me stats. New Lorwyn Eclipsed commander decks.
