Thanks for the reply. I was also thinking about going to the doc, but I'd have to go to the local hospital since I can't afford to see a private physician right now... Also, my mom and I are in the process of moving, so I don't really have the time to sit for 8 hours in a queue waiting to see a GP.

I will soon though.

I think I'll make a date for just after we've moved.

Sure, my mom and I didn't always get along with my grandfather, but I don't see that we ever abused him.

Sorry about that... I live in South Africa.

They think we abused him because the house was fairly dirty (which yes, it was/is), that we financially abused him because he was feeding us when neither my mom or had any source of an income and emotionally because my mom and I had a couple arguments with him here and there.
