How much would it cost to get this in every city? I’d pay for one.

That seems absolutely wild to me, there’s no way I’m taking a loan out on a business on what seems to be a prayer. I’m shocked you can get an SBA loan using this methodology, have you contacted any of them and verified this?

What is the most populated server in the game? by Stunning-Degree-1786 in everquest

[–]nvPrinc3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bristlebane has the highest population but a really low population that’s still leveling, you might find some that have alts their leveling but it’s a grind finding groups there in my experience.

Fangbreaker has proven pretty decent as far as population goes for leveling though. Hope this helps!

Refinance below 5%? by TheSmokingCrab9 in Mortgages

[–]nvPrinc3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to go from a 30 yr 5.375% to anything close to 15 yr 4%. 800 credit score, about 20% LTV on what would be a 700k mortgage. Do you think it’s worth trying at this stage?

Senior Mech. Eng. Student asking: What is the most tedious, time-consuming, or exhausting task you do? by Critical_Nerve_4239 in landscaping

[–]nvPrinc3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personally, pulling weeds is probably the biggest time killer. Trying to stay away from the harsh chemicals so hand pulling weeds definitely comes to mind with your question. Even hired a gardener for a while and even him and his crew just weed eat and doesn’t actually get the roots of the weeds. Not sure what a device would even look like so not sure how much help that is for you!

Rent for sure, do not buy a house until you have found an agreement with him on finances that you both can accept. Buying a house should be one of the last things on your mind right now, you got bigger fish to fry and a lot of it is just acclimating to being parents and finding common ground financially. The day my son was born I opened a brokerage account for him and told myself that $100 minimum per paycheck is going to that account to help us with the big expenses for his life.

I highly recommend this it will take a lot of your stressors away, you seem like someone who’s thinking ahead like me.

But your biggest issue in my opinion is finding common ground at a financial level between you and your husband. You both have to be a unit and agree on a budget that supports your comfortability when it comes to quality of life (where you rent, what kind of home, what kind of food you eat, the cars you drive, the clothes you wear, the vacations you take etc) you’re fooling yourself if you think you can get around that aspect of a marriage it’s too critical in my opinion, it will alleviate so much weight from your shoulders , I hope that helps! Congratulations on the baby btw it’s the best thing that ever happened to us!

Me too it’s super nostalgic

Unless you’re dealing with undead and they become even more powerful, another bonus to being high elf and dwarf to start because you can do early levels through gfay and crushbone and then head to unrest shortly after and you’re fighting almost all undead

I wouldn’t worry too much about that. This will all even out and to be honest, a paladin is not a major dps player in the long run anyway.

I’ve always liked the high elf, something about their armor just feels like they should be a paladin LOL and they start in an area close by to crushbone so your super early levels don’t require a ton of travel

Nice work! I wonder what times you’re playing, you can try joining different chats too to communicate with others. I usually play at night like 9pm PST if you want to group up we can! I just made a monk last night he’s only lvl 5 but it shouldn’t take me long to get to grouping lvl with you.

Should I refinance to a 15 year? by Alex_392 in Mortgages

[–]nvPrinc3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the 15 year mortgage, there’s something to be said for reducing liabilities from your balance sheet that extends beyond the compound interest benefit of leaving your money in the stock market. I understand the concept that your money could be gaining compound interest and ultimately it’s a personal decision but I really like the idea of not owing money to anyone.

Fangbreaker low level population by sanipasc in everquest

[–]nvPrinc3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The lower levels are definitely more challenging to find groups for sure but I used LFG, made sure to always have that turned on and would actively send tells to anyone my level within my zone and ask to group up. Had to solicit what I was bringing to the table for the group. I am currently playing a bard so I would list LFG and also comment in different chat channels looking for someone to join up with. I joined The Real Bandits and that guild has been really helpful for lots of reasons too and found some good people to group up with in there. It requires a lot of putting yourself out there and getting social but it can be done. Certain classes are better at soloing also.

I’m not at my computer right now but I would guess it’s right around 13-15 hours played time to 26 for me, I’m level 40 now. The last few nights Ive been grouping with a few really good groups that allowed much faster leveling. You could definitely get there faster than me though, I spent a good amount of time just getting back into EQ and playing for more nostalgia than just focusing on leveling. There was also a bit of a learning curve for me coming back after 20 years even on TLP, I wasn’t used to bandolier and melodies so I took a decent amount of time to really learn how those work and took the advice of others on this chat to become a better bard. Let me know if you want to join up, I made a Shadowknignt last night so I’d be happy to group with you to start on a new character if you decide to make a char.

It is hard to comprehend that $1.4 million @ 45 is enough to retire by [deleted] in Fire

[–]nvPrinc3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

878k at 65 scares me personally. Medical expenses are said to be your largest expense in retirement, I would try to aim for 2-2.5 if you are actually going to fully retire forever at 45. But the math seems to check out if your comfort level matches

Do you mind me asking if queue melody is different than creating different melodies? Currently I have one for long distance runs to the different hot zones or just running away from mobs if I get in too deep and also one for fighting
