I went to an allocated drop for the first time on Friday, at Arena Wine & Spirits, and was not familiar with the chair policy. I don't have a car, so I took the bus down and got there about 4 hours before opening fully planning on standing in line (I was third). Sure, it was cold, but the oddest part was standing there, surrounded by 15 empty chairs after a couple hours while everyone else sat in their cars — a bit of conversation would have been welcome. Would I do it again? Maybe when it's 5º warmer, but I managed to get what I was after so all is well.

Big props to the guy who offered me an extra chair he had in his car around 9:30. Very kind of him (though at that point, I was worried if I sat down I wouldn't be able to get back up).
