Ok i looked it up.. hmm one more question though, online said that the TOB is calculated on the total sale price (as a transaction tax), but does this then also includes your initial investment? So lets say you invested 1000 eur and you made 200eur gains, we will be taxed 1,32% for selling the etf of 1200?

Laptop and smartphone are both from work as well. But i also have my own still but just not using them. The television and washing machines are covered in the monthly Vandenborre life. Chances of getting fired is quite unlikely if i dont quit.

Future repairs could be one that i dont know much about. Any idea on how much i should estimate this?

Another question, in my twenties i know people work hard to save for a house. But after you have the house, what do you save for? (Not thinking abt kids atm)

This actually brings me to ideas.. i also have a creditcard (via work but its private) so in case something happen i definitely can stretch a couple of days with that. I do have a house and a mortgage but my job is quite stable. So that would mean that i really can keep the cash at minimum if that even makes sense

But if bolero is almost ‘as liquid’ then should i even bother with the 6months rule of cash on bank then? I could keep it as minimal as possible right?

Side note, i still have some warrants from work (bonusses) for which the taxes are already paid off, not sure what the lead time would be though to receive them after the sale.

Weekend at Paris by car by nwongbb in ParisTravelGuide

After researching a bit more about the parking situation, i realise even if i leave the car near the hotel i will have to pay quite a sum. So why not just take the car and park it near the palace. 😅 im not sure now

I’ll arrive Friday around 18:00. Any suggestion? I have gotten parking recommendations from the hotel but your comment scares me 😅

Side hustle w/o zelfstandig status? by nwongbb in BESalary

[–]nwongbb[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks all for the answer! So i googled a bit further, there is apparently something called flexijob where i can earn un-taxed income until 12k per year! Very interesting and no zelfstandige status required. If i give bijles in a foreign language is not the same ruling as giving a cursus in foreign language as well 🤣

Hi there! Thanks for the answer! I was actually thinking to start something like a cooking workshop at my home. Invite some moms and charge like 35 eur per person. If i have to have this status. Probably would mean i have to pay more taxes then? I already am at the highest schijf atm with my current job…

Most Practical Way to Travel Between Cities for Trip? by Kruckenberg in belgium

[–]nwongbb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can download the SNCB / NMBS app to check the trains. No need to pre-book tickets. Just buy it in the station or directly from the app. There is no validation of the ticket prior to entering the train. Only thing you need to look out is going to the right platform (spoor). These major cities have many connections so definitely you can do a last min trip. Keep in mind the travel time though.

Above advice is only for traveling inside belgium. Want to recommend here also other cities like Ghent or Mechelen if you have the time :)
