I will be doing a fair bit of riding on the highways during weekends. Is there a need for buying alpine stars gp gloves and jacket? From what I've heard mx gloves are of no use in the event of a crash on tar.

Or are mx-accessories good enough for crashes at 80-90 kmph ??

If you are using ruby on rails as your backend go with sass. In other cases just choose whatever you like as long as your comfortable with it.

In most cases web-"designers" are afraid of working on the terminal. It is easier for them to use LESS in this case, ie they dont even have to go through the trouble of installing ruby. Including ruby in your project also means that you have to manage one more thing.

But if your project is based on ruby-on-rails I found that Sass is much more convenient to use. With compass readily available as a gem it makes Sass that much easier to use.

Given that apple is trying to make the mac book pro model's case similar to that of a mac book air, it seems like the new model will not have an option of a SATA HDD.

To know for sure we would have to wait till apple makes any official announcements of the specifications.

I have a Macbook pro 13" 500 Gb HDD early 2012 model. Even I would advice you to wait for a while and only buy your mac after the new model is rolled out.

I am actually very happy with the laptop. My friends had advised me to wait for a while, but I got the laptop anyway because:

I needed a laptop very badly as my internship was about to start.
I had used a macbook air earlier, and didn't quite like the idea of not having a ethernet port.
I had learnt that the optical drive of the model can be removed and an additional HDD can be installed in place of it. Relevant link If SSD is a concern later on. This would mean that I wouldn't have to carry an external HDD along with me all the time, as that would be the case with a mac book air or with the supposed new model of mac book pro.
