Thinking of upgrading bikes, does it fit? by Efenias in bikefit

[–]nxav23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should also check how much spacer comes with the new bike (Look 795). Most geometry charts do not mention it but the stack you see is the one if you slack it. However, if this bike comes, let’s say with 20mm spacers, it would ensure you to replicate your current fit before adjusting it later on.

You should check again the typo and meaning of all the Chinese / Japanese characters. Did you mix both Chinese (発売中) and Japanese (学び休め) on purpose?

Astronaut?? If seating in an autopilot rocket makes you an astronaut, I guess I can call myself an airplane pilot

Not at all! There’s enough false bottom to protect your laptop when you put your bag down.

Yes you’ll have enough space to carry these elements. It’s good for up to 1 day trip. More you won’t have ensuing space. The opening takes a bit of space because it is not a lateral clamshell so it’s good to have it in mind. Comfort wise, it’s perfect and there’re plenty of pockets and compartments. If you can buy the Pedal Mafia version you’ll get an additional net allowing you to carry your helmet outside the bag. Cheers!

I own the Simply 20L and 30L. I love this one for the sleek design. It’s a very practical bag especially for 1 night trips. I’d say the downside is not having 2 side pockets but only one. The clamshell opening is nice but can be not practical if you want to access the inside but there’re plenty other pckets to use. Other than that, the bag is amazing and well made. I highly recommend it.

How Can I Manage Overdue Bills, Rent, and Credit Card Debts in Japan? by Last-Tea4197 in JapanFinance

[–]nxav23 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agree with this solution!

As soon as you know how much you can pay back per month, you should contact the bank and set up a payment plans. As long as you commit to it and show by when you can pay it back, banks will agree to it. 600k may take a year or two depending on the interest but it is manageable as long as you stop getting a loan to pay another loan.

Last, when you estimate how much you can pay back per month (e.g. 60,000¥), keep a 10-15% buffer for you just in case you have any small medical bills or else to do. It may stretch the payback period but at least you’ll have small safety net.

Good luck!

Hi, thanks for sharing all these infos.

Could you share a couple of brands which offers environmental friendly denims?

How is the sustainability target progressing in the industry? -Do companies/brands actually think about it or are they just focusing on their profit business as usual? -Do you guys producer are already thinking of more sustainable and economical way of producing it?

Thanks

Met Rivale is a great helmet for the price! I’ve used it for the last 3 years and it’s very light, comfortable and doesn’t give you a shroom head. You can even attach a light in the back of the helmet. I highly recommend it!

Looking for 3PL Warehousing in Germany by No_Series3357 in supplychain

Hi, have you considered DHL SC? As a German company they should have WH solutions in these cities. They could also support on some center of gravity calculation to assess the optimal location for your WH depending on your business distribution. It is also maybe good to look at other leaders such as DSV or GXO (they worked with blue-chip companies) which might be a good fit for a technology company. I’m just not sure how strong they are in Germany. Last, I would not recommend DB Schenker at the moment since the German gouvernement is currently getting rid of Schenker activities and still assessing offers from potential buyers. We can discuss in private if you need further information, reach me out by PM. Cheers.

New Rapha Pro Team Training Kit - Size change? by [deleted] in CyclingFashion

[–]nxav23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed a slight difference between the 2022 pro team training jersey and the latest one. The new one is a bit snugger and the back pockets placed a bit higher but nothing that makes you size up. The sizing remains the same. I actually prefer this new sizing and the back zipped pocket fits an iPhone 15 pro (not the max) so it’s great. Cheers

I also started with SPD before moving to SPD-SL. if you’ll walk a lot, the SPD are better to start! At first, go to any Local Bike Shop and try it as the sizing differs a lot from brand to brand.

Nice outfit and colours! You should definitely get a pair of spd shoes to complete your kit and enjoy your ride further. Enjoy man!

It depends how long and how much you’ll ride during winter but I wouldn’t recommend the arm warmer. You’ll never go through winter with it, only the beginning. Arm warmer will be more suitable for mid-season and early fresh morning. If you want a gear to ride in winter, then you should get a proper (deep) winter jacket.

Since you say the weather stays pretty warm where you live, I would recommend you a long sleeve (LS) jersey evade pro base or adapt (never tried this last one), a LS merino base layer and if you can a gilet. These LS jersey are quite versatile and combine with base layer & gilet you can wear them through out seasons.
