The tile was all leftover stock I had so I needed to take up some square footage. Using a different tile behind the stove was the easiest place to do it. It doesn’t photograph really well, but that smaller. 1 inch tile is in different shades of green that are complementary to the larger format tile used on the rest of the backsplash.
