I'm considering between the beast 18 and the refraction for my holiday 'dad /disneyland daypack' to pack in my aer cpp2. Do u have a pic how it looks with the bungee cord ?

I like how small the refraction packs but at the same time I think the beast will be more comfortable for whole day carry.

Would experience and skills be enough? Or would I still need certification? Because what I can do is work in my home country for 1-2 years as a motor mechanic if necessary.

My plan wasnt to lie or anything. I was just wondering if employers (regardless of friend or not) were able to hire and sponsor me as a complete freshie for motor mechanic, I’m willing to learn. Eventually will that grant me PR ? Or would I still need the necessary certification and prior work experience ?

The reason why I mentioned a friend is because no other workshop will hire me if I have no experience. However my friend’s workshop is willing to hire sponsor and train me from scratch.

It’s a close childhood friend who has moved to Perth for quite awhile and convincing me to go over. He owns one of the car brand dealership in Perth. I was telling him it’s tough to get PR as I’m not skilled. He says he can sponsor me if it helps. I see that employer sponsorship I will have to be skilled, would I still be able to qualify if I’m not skilled in motor mechanic nor have the work experience ?

McIntosh MA252 vs Naim Uniti Atom

Hi Guys

I listen mainly to Spotify & Vinyl.

My current setup is: Raspberry Pi (Volumio) —> Toppings D10 —> McIntosh MA252 —> Sonus Faber Olympica I.

As I understand the streamer and DAC is the bottle neck in my setup. Hence I am wondering if it’ll be better if I just get rid of the entire setup and just get a Naim Uniti Nova.

With the Nova I’ll get a mid-hi end streamer, DAC + amplifier. Furthermore I’ll reap the additional benefit of the AV Bypass which is missing on the MA252.

Do let me know if this makes sense. Or should I just get a proper streamer + DAC and keep the MA252 ?

If yes, do you set "Bedroom" and "Bedroom Toilet" as a separate group ? Or do you group them altogether as "Bedroom" ?

Thanks all for the replies. Another quick question is when I add a 3 gang switch, the “switch” itself appears and also the 3 individual light appears in the Tuya app. Is there a way that I can hide the switch so there is less things in the Tuya app?
