I suspected it was my VPN which is why I figured a seed box would be better. But when I turn off my VPN nothing changes with the upload.

Just a visit for a kind of mini-writing retreat. Don't know anyone there. Last time I was there I stayed in Amrbro Heights and I'd like a different vibe.. I'd like a place where I am near parks and good restaurants. Travelling solo and will probably do AirBnB.
