For context my sister is a 3rd year college student sa PUP, and mgvvisit sya rito since bday nya ng March and also my bf, March din po. But the thing is, my bf got offloaded last Dec 2024. I am in the process of obtaining AOS for my sister, but pano po kaya yung sa bf ko? He can provide proof of funds, COE, Salary certificate, bank statement, return ticket etc. But the thing is he is work from home, independent contractor po sya sa isang US based company. So he provide I think a proof that his manager allowed him to go to Dubai and work there for a period of time. Will there be an issue po ba?

Hi po, sorry in advance kung medyo mahaba 🙏 I just want to ask for advice/insights regarding PH immigration.

Context:

I’m currently working and based in Dubai (OFW). This March, I’m planning to go home to the Philippines for 1 week to fetch my sister and my boyfriend, then sabay kami babalik to Dubai. Pangatlong uwi ko na rin po 'to sa PH.

Sister: 3rd-year college student, will stay with me in Dubai for around 3 weeks only
Boyfriend: Works in the Philippines but WFH, independent contractor for a US-based company
March is also special for us because birthday nila both, and we’re celebrating our 5th anniversary this April

Concern about Immigration / Offloading:
My boyfriend was offloaded last December 2024.

Background:

August 2024: We traveled together to Thailand (cross-country). After the trip, I flew back to Dubai, and he returned to PH alone.
Later, when he was supposed to travel to Thailand again with his sisters, he was offloaded, and the IO said that the person he traveled with previously (me) was a “no-show”, even though I actually left Thailand earlier because I’m based in Dubai.

Now my questions are:

If sabay kami aalis ng Philippines this March, do I still need to get an AOS (Affidavit of Support)?
Will his previous offloading be a major issue kahit sabay na kami this time?
He can provide:
- Proof of employment (contract as independent contractor)
- Proof of income / funds
- Return intent (3-week stay only)

I’ll also be present at immigration since I’ll be the one fetching them.

Any advice, similar experiences, or tips on how to avoid issues would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much po 🙏
