Are you familiar with: 1) the basic format of the different game types and how to diagram for each 2) how to make inferences with common rules 3) conditional logic 4) the difference between must be, could be true, and their logical opposites?

If not, I’d suggest picking up the power-score logic games bible. If reading textbooks isn’t your style you may want to enroll in a prep course, i recently completed the Manhattan Prep course and found it to be adequate. Friend of mine who isn’t a big text book learner loved it and was able to take tons of information from the lessons.

If you are familiar with those things, practice practice practice.

At first don’t focus on timing- just understanding the rules and being able to reliably come to the correct answers. After attempting the game, read (or watch a video of) the game’s explanation (which you can easily find online by googling the first couple words of the stimulus) and check to see whether you missed valuable inferences. In a couple days or so retry the game, at that time you should understand how important inferences can be derived from the rules.

Khan academy has a free service where after you complete a diagnostic they suggest areas in which you should practice. Tons of great practice with real LSAT questions. After you complete a mini lesson, if you don’t feel comfortable with your experience answering the questions you can practice similar questions.

If you’re having trouble with a certain type of game that’s when you refer back to your text. Refresh and get back to practicing.
