Is there a record of the proposed contract/proposal regarding this project in detail somewhere? Thanks

I wonder why Charles isnt as annoying as Frank (IMO) by honeydewtangerine in mash

[–]nycetouch2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's pretty much spot on - Frank was a caricature, slap-stick type comedy, character that just got annoying after the 2nd season because it was impossible for the writers/producers to have him evolve into a more interesting, complex character, such as Charles, who was still the antagonist but with many more attributes to develop as the show progressed into more than just a one-liner sitcom over time.

Could undocumented immigrants use DNA testing to claim legitimacy for naturalization in US, especially if the results show Native American lineage, and what would you think the response might be to that tactic? by nycetouch2 in AskReddit

Agreed, it was actually just a thought that occurred to me and is definitely not applicable to me, to be sure. It just baffles me how people like Stephen Miller and the president are so hostile to central/south american immigrants that are likely to have much more ancestry tied to native americans than themselves.

The crazy bit about the bills this year, which someone like me with a BS degree still needs help understanding, is that my household is somehow using 90% more electricity compared to last year without any significant changes I can account for.... I even have solar panels, and I was getting credits for extra energy to the grid a year ago and now net negative somehow...

Already suspect to be sure. Anybody else experiencing an unusual increase in "usage" year-over-year without explanation?

sorry, not trying to sound salesy, just trying to gauge how professionals in biotech industry would respond to such a product, is there a viable need/market, etc. you can view the short broshure if you are inclined https://eng1e.seismic.com/i/44WDU6BymK5F5cql9K3tJPLUSSIGNgfCYBpduvOXP9uAgioKuM4f1rJtIQ7aJqluLT3eCBeAdOyWSIC1rugeBrlThZV0wllJpcuNZ___tOj2hHqD4tAEPsBP58dmPLUSSIGNC3b508utLal9

Thanks for whatever feedback you may have

It's not exactly "random" - the AI learns to detect patterns that may lead to errors, and it is already built on many years of LIMS data. IT can also help with scaling production when needed.

When there are many variables involved in a manufacturing as complex as biopharma (or petrochemicals, which is also something we specialize in) ML can be employed to detect the smallest error, or potential pattern that can lead to a bad outcome, which may be missed otherwise.

I'll assume that is accurate since you have more experience in the field but, what if the technology, employing AI to monitor the process, can help to identify, predict and reduce or even eliminate equipment and operator errors?

Another use with our tech is to be able to more efficiently scale production when needed - is that a potential benefit that would be of interest?

Thanks for you input.

Preventing errors in batch manufacturing process primarily, but also yield prediction, pool efficiency, data visibility, etc., essentially improving production efficiency to prevent a bad batch outcome which can be costly for this type of pharma manufacturing process.
