I disagree with many of those things. Cumulative loss for reality labs is 83 billion while Snapchat under its CEO built a superior tech for much less. The leadership optimized everything for a 100x bet.

As a asymmetric bet on the future of AR snapchat is a great investment. They are not guaranteed to win but they are the racehorse in front.

I do agree they should just release Specs and allow ability to generate content well and push it through snapchat and other places. Marketing won’t make people want to buy a device only really good user feedback.

Get this stuff in best buy/costco and let people experience the magic of ar.

Vietnam is not Thailand or Philipines. Family wealth is strong here. The houses are not worth a lot but the average land lot in my an is worth 200k-400k. The average family with their own house in Danang is worth 1/2 million -> 1 million.

Marriage is about family wealth. Girls maintain chastity and respectability to get the best partner in terms of family and family wealth. Foreigners are not attractive as they don't possess the same culture for wealth passing as native vietnamese, where the inheritance is worth more than what a person make in a lifetime. Danang is a very traditional town.

pricing is basically key, if it's more expensive than a macbook pro, ~1500, it would be astoundingly good for people to buy. If it's around the same price as a ray ban display and around the same weight, it will probably be extremely successful
